I would very much so appreciate some feedback to see if anyone finds this deck viable as well or sees an improvement that could be made.
I've always tinkered with Dragon Paladin but found it could do at best a 40-45% win rate with high control decks running rampant prior to the spiteful nerf, but with the #1 nemesis of Cubelock getting the nerf bat, I dusted this off and tried it out again, and to my surprise, it is able to go toe to toe with the meta at this time. The key is the usage of Genn Greymane, Ebon Dragonsmith, Cathedral gargoyle, and Silver Sword. Mixing all of these together with the classic combo of consecration plus equality really opens up windows to steam roll opponents somewhere in the turn 8-10 range.
I like the list but I would remove the Avenging Wrath and replace it with 2x wild pyro. And I would probaly add a fairy dragon instead of hydrologist for more consistency with dragon buffs.
realy like it. As mentioned two avenging wrath seem not good. I would replace one. Not shure about bloodmage too. I personally realy like hydrologist and i will synergize with pyromancer too. Speed and token clear :
-2 avenging wrath (arguable to leave one as nasty surprise)
- bloodmage thanatos. (I like him too but he is a bit weak if you want tempo)
- lich king (it´s arguable, hes always good but 8 mana)
Interesting deck idea. Probably the biggest issue I can see: there are 4 minions that buff, if you're holding a dragon, and only 4 dragons. I haven't played Even Pally before, but other than Sunkeeper Tarim, is there any other reason to stick with the one mana ability, and the even restriction?

good options:
+ nat pagle
+ Defender of argus
+ fairy dragon
Wtf why would you run nat pagle? And lich king is a staple in any even deck, don't even think about it... Btw really cool looking deck, wild pyros are better tho

He has 6 dragons, a little more would be nice but there arent any good at the even cost for a midrange deck, maybe hoarding dragon could work, but then it has to become a more midrange deck to work. The 1 mana dude is really strong heropower.
Why Even Dragon Paladin tho? I'm trying to figure out the benefits of having cheap hero power compared to having access to good odd-cost dragons (Alexstrasza, Ysera, Cobalt Scalebane, Marsh Drake just to name some). Dragon list that I'm playing also runs Lynessa Sunsorrow to benefit from all the buff cards the deck has.

What am i missing here? Why would you run pyro except for the 4 mana board wipe? There aren't any other low cost spells that could help you control Odd Pally and a single turn board wipe doesn't mean much against them.

Courage is not the absence of fear, Courage is the presence of faith.
The synergy is with the silver sword for the hero power. I find I frustratingly run out of minion fuel for the silver sword and frankly can't see the justification to throw silver sword into a more control-oriented paladin deck.
Since Ebon opens up the possiblity of a silver sword on turns 5-7, having the option to throw a 1 cost 1/1 dude out there is unbelievably valuable and forces your opponent to address your dudes otherwise the board snowballs out of control.
I wouldn't have even bothered posting this if we were pre-spiteful nerf. The more control oriented decks like Mind Blast Priest and Cubelock stop this deck from ever getting a chance to build the board up in the first place.
I don't get the inclusion of Genn. Why would you want the 1 cost hero power here. Your curve is all over the place, so I can't really find a tempo play that benefits from a 1 cost token generation. I'd easily drop Genn and Thalnos for two Righteous Protectors and add Tar Creepers or Stonehill Defenders in this.
I modified the list and am doing quite well. Went Rank 15-10 with only 4 losses. Now I'll see how it holds up in higher ranks. That Gargoyle is a monster, especially against rogues.
replace 2 hungry dragon with 2 twilight guardian when you get them. i would actually run like 2 faerie dragon instead of hungry dragon for now. you also need to add the new 3 drop for paladin.
He can't put a 3 drop in an even list ...

I would love Dragon Pally to work. Alas, it just doesn't have the tools right now.

Derp, I didn't take in the Dragonsmith.

Interesting!
How do you fare against Control decks?
There's no synergy in the deck with the hero power, so what's the point of making it an even deck?

I put in Spikeridged Steed and Knife Juggler. That justifies using Genn. Also replaced the Loot Hoarders with Drygulch Jailor. It is a brilliant card. Put down 3 guys + attack with Silver Sword = value. It also synergized well with Twilight Drake, another great 4-drop dragon.
I just made a custom Dragenn Paly and I'm like 6-3 rn.
