I’ve recently started playing cookie clicker and wanted to ask what and how many upgrades do you go for in the start of the game? Do you just buy them randomly or have a strategy as to how many cursors one should buy before moving on to the other upgrades. Also, what’s the maximum amount of cookies you usually spend for a particular upgrade and how do you know whether buying a certain upgrade is even worth it anymore or not?
Are you new to the game? I think it’s best to buy smaller upgrades if you have less cookies, but in the long run, it’s always smart to go for the biggest assets (like farm, or spacecraft) only. And when you hover on any of the assets, it will show you the CPS (cookies per second) it is generating. So you can decide if it’s worth it or not. Anyways, I think you’re thinking way too much, when you can just click through an automation tool if you were not aware and just get as many cookies as you want in no time lol!

Oh thanks for the help mate. I am a new player. Yes, I've only been playing the game for the last 4 days. I am progressing really slowly in the game. What tool are you using for speeding up? Do you think they are reliable? Please let me know if you have personally used one.

You’re welcome! I don’t play it anymore, it’s very addicting, but I used this auto clicker when I used to play it a while back. I had to quit as it was greatly impacting my work productivity and also continuous hours of gaming are not good for my back, I have had a slip disc issue for a few years. Anyways, I hope that helps you with the game, cheers!

thanks dude! Yeah, it is indeed very addictive. I have been playing it day and night, spending at least 4 hours on it every day, I understand what you are saying about this being addictive, but to my luck my summer vacations are going on, I will quit once they’re over (or maybe I will not haha) I will prob do and shift to a less addictive game but right now I am curious to see where this can lead me. It is working so well for me, thanks for this. Have a great day.

Just remember to tempo out the cookies vs. aggro
Umm....What? Didn't quite get what you said.
Signing up in a Hearthstone-Forum and the first question is about another game. Interesting... but yeah, you should tech against aggro.

Play a real idle game. I finished cookie clicker in less than 140 hrs (with much afking). Thats the most boring Ildegame ever. Try WAMI, NGU, etc...
Finished? Wait, what? I thought the game was endless
