Not sure if this has been recommended before but it would be kind of neat to be able to compare multiple decks against eachother, i.e. show what cards are different between them. For example show this deck has -1 of this card or +2 of another card. There just seems to be quite a few decks that are very similar with just a few changes, it would be nice with a few mouse clicks to easily see what the differences are.
It's called tech choices.. no need to compare.. just think about the change to the deck..
tech choices, ok... but why no need to compare?
I'd think better/easier about the changes if I could see a few similar decks side by side on the same page, with the differences highlighted if possible.
It's a common feature on e-commerce sites, it'd be nice to have it here, too.

Hhmm I don't think that does much.. you normally build a deck from a core, since a lot if decjs use synergy and a game plan, those are normally at least 15 cards then you add the extra based on meta call or preference or extra synergy.
What kind of lists would you even want to compare?
How many times does this come up really? It's very narrow feature that isn't really needed for much
Maybe if ut included their win ratesnow it's more informative since you get to know which list have better success with/without certain cards.

Yes... so what?
Actually, this seems a point in favor of my argument. If 15 cards are core, then another 15 are to be chosen, and for that choice the deck compare feature would be quite useful. Specially if someone lacks knowledge/experience to make an informed decision based on meta or extra synergy.
And don't forget card ownership. Not everybody has like 90% of cards in their collection, you know. If you still miss a lot of cards then some sort of deck comparison can be a life-saver on how to fill those spots. For example, you could not be able to make any of the decks you're checking, exactly as they are listed, but you could try some synthesis of them.

What do you think? Different versions of the same archetype, obviously.

Don't know for you, but for me it comes up basically every day. And, missing that feature, it's a lot of tedious work to do the comparison by hand.

I honestly can't understand how you could say this. Probably you and me are in two very different boats.

On this we do agree. Winrates, forum users ratings and stuff like that would help decision.

That's the whole point of the comparison. Highlighting changes to be able to ponder about them.
Last week, i spent time to do that to compare trump's and thijsnl's tempo mage lists.
I personally like also to compare close archetypes to see what minor changes there can be between the two like silence priest and otk priest at the moment.
You're all pretty lazy tbh. Just look up the decks and compare them yourself. Sure, it might take a bit of time, but asking for a feature that saves you 3 minutes is pathetic.

Minutes? More like hours, actually.
And attacking people instead of arguments is an old rhetoric trick.
I would also like to +1 the concept of doing a web-based compare instead of having to open each one in multiple tabs and trying to manually determine which cards are not necessary to the "core" of the deck archetype.
I would use something like this as a learning tool.
That's exactly the sort of feature we were talking about, thank you. Maybe now some people here will stop thinking it's just 3-4 guys in the world who feel this need ;)
However, even if deck comparison on hearthstonetopdecks is nice, it's not integrated with hearthpwn (or is it?).
I mean, for people better used to hearthpwn, and/or feeling this as their "main" community, it would be even nicer to have the same functionality here, without jumping back and forth between different sites.
That's just another sort of "switching back and forth". Between two tabs open on the same site, or two tabs open on different sites, it doesn't change much. It's still far from convenient.

Sorry, you can't really smell tone on text. I meant it as a joke. Sorry if I bothered you.
Whoops, my bad for not getting the joke. Besides text inability to convey tone, I'm also not a native English speaker, so that might have had something to do with the misunderstanding.
No problem, anyway.

I know it's an old thread but I'd like to second this request. :-)
For Lordaeron!

This really should be added considering 3 people have asked for it over 2 years

I would like to compare Burn Mage against Taunt Warrior. Kappa
You can do this at http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com ...you can also compare the mana curves.
For example:
http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/deck-comparison/?deck_ids[]=23324&deck_ids[]=51109&deck_ids[]=51017&deck_ids[]=50220
Just open the same deck in two different tabs.
