I am using FireFox, and it is horrendously slow. Frankly, it is so bad that it crashes Safari on my old iPad. I am pretty sure it's the script of the site itself, under cursecdn.com, which is responsible for most of the actual forum functions. It doesn't seem nearly as bad in diablofans.com, which is also under Curse.
Same for me. For the past month or so it's been incredibly slow. I get pauses when I type levels of slow. Around that same time, the adblock stopped working for the banner ads on this site (all Curse sites actually), and it's so bad my comp freezes up for a full minute the first time I open Hearthpwn a day.
I am running Firefox, latest build, with Adblock Plus.
Yeah, Shockwave crashes for me a lot. I tried looking into fixes, but my browser (Chrome) did not have the issues that are supposedly the culprit. Just crashed as I was typing this, in fact.
Even the forum pages are still very slow (though still faster than the main page). Half the time I type a reply it takes over a second for the characters to appear on screen.

People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.
I push my macbook pro pretty hard - always a million websites and spss files open at any given time. But everything is fine until I come to this website and my computer starts gasping and wheezing for computational air. Until last month I thought it's because my macbook pro was quite old. So when I got a brand new macbook pro last month with a flash drive I thought "finally, no more heavy breathing from the laptop." Yea pretty much, except for Hearthpwn. Suddenly my computer sounds like it could blow leaves from my driveway.
So I just kind of get in and out of this site as fast as I can. Usually it's better to just take a screenshot of a deck and consider it in Preview than listen to my *brand new macbook pro* cough and sputter over this website. Does anyone else deal with this?
I've merged two other duplicate threads into this one.

Some things to keep in mind when responding:
Let us know what browser and operating system you are using.
System specifications can also be helpful. (Computer specs, Phone model)
Which pages are causing the most issues for you.
This isn't going to be something that is easily fixed overnight, we have a very large site and it's a difficult problem to tackle but it is one that we know must be addressed.
There is actually an overload (hah) of coding on the front page, and not to mention how long it is. I've actually made my link to Hearthpwn to my profile page, as it makes landing here much faster.
But even so, that website hasn't been that slow. My computer is pretty bad, but it can handle Hearthpwn.
Unbelievably slow, there's something very, very wrong with the JavaScript on this site, imho.
Especially bad if you look at the list of threads and open all the new ones simultaneously in new tabs, as I like to do when reading forums.
I run it with firefox and adblocker and it gives me error script too, especially when it loads my collection (like every time I load it).
you are not the only one, it is slow for me too.
Yeah I like hearthpwn content but the site sucks a lot

yeah same for me... some weeks ago it wasn't so bad, but now very slow....
C'Thun demands a sacrifice! Preferably a Deathwing.

Trying Real Hard To Keep Hunter Relevant
yea ad block no adblock, chrome FF, this website is SLOW AF
It's slow like a Scaled Nightmare holy crap
The issue might have something to do with some JavaScript library which needs a fix or an update to a newer version.
This site also uses a lot of advertising and tracking, which can present some issues when not optimized properly.
I second the OP. Terribly slow to navigate. There is a delay even in the reply box I'm writing in!
Even worse on smartphones.
Sometimes I don't really feel like navigating it here and there, unless I have to check something precise, just because it is too annoyingly slow.

agree with everyone here, loading the main page is terribly slow. only today's news/articles should be loaded.
older articles, popular decks etc should go onto other pages or links
bookmark the forum page, much faster
is someone injured?

I got this problem aswell. Wonder if there are solutions to this.
Some of the features do have quite a bit of 'hangtime'.

No, but I do run Windows ;)
