While i don't care one way or another, a hs forum can function just fine without down votes, I'd point out that reddit, text based AND a cesspool, works pretty much based on this approach. It obviously wouldn't be as important or impactful on a forum, but that doesn't mean we need to go back to early 90s forums with the simplest ways of doing things, there is room for progress.

The comments that are filtered out are filtered out for a reason because of the negative feedback.

One example I can think of is a post before about Zeddy. I don't like the guy, his stream, act and opinions. And that's my opinion.

But he has an army of followers and fans. My comment would get plenty of downvotes even if some people agree with me. And I don't really care if my comment gets filtered out or removed because it had to many downvotes. It was my choice to comment it even though I could have just ignored it and move on.

 Exactly when your comment has big anti party (this case zeddy folowers ) making a sum of the likes and dislike will definetly put you in a non favorable position ... even if you have lets say 100 likes addding to it 150 dislikes will make your comment disappear cause the total is -50 , though with 100 likes you could potentialy have the highest liked comment also... Thats why i think this system is bad ,and brought up the topic

Well I'am getting downvoted simply because I'am bored of Hearthstone, and I'am gonna quit in one month. It's like posting on a Drug forum and not sharing their enthusiasm for the latest Meth, and getting called out and offended for that. It's okay, you can do whatever you want with your lives.

However... one can't deny that my comments and predictions on Card reveals were often rather insightful over the entire span of all those Expansions. Not always turned my predictions to be right, but at least I've tried to stay constructive unlike many other comments I saw there.

I'am now not gonna resume commenting on card reveals anymore, because of the severe Downvote abuse taken on me, for no apparent reason other than me leaving, even though I've just tried to be neutral.

I must admit that extra apostrophe between “I’am” is not making you any favour as far as reading your messages go. Also, I’ve noticed you’ve mentioned multiple times you’ll be leaving… why? I mean you’ve said so before, why keep repeating it?

The only thing I don't like is that heavily down-voted comments get hidden.
