Hearthpwn

I built my deck around this card ...its supposed to summon a beast whenever a friendly beasts attacks.....nothing. The lightning bolt flashes which indicates it's supposed to be doing....and my entire deck is pretty much all beasts so I suspect a glitch.

It summons a mininon with a cost of 1 less, so, if say you attack with a 3-drop its possible you already drew all your decks 2drops and nothing happens.

This might be a stupid question, but: do you understand that the beast you summon will be one that cost (1) less than the one that attacked?

It could very well be a bug, but if the beast you attack with is the lowest cost in your deck, then it will try to summon one but fail.

I appreciate the feedback...just tried  it again paying close attention to the cost issue. I had a 5 cost beast attack,  which was probably my highest knowing I had several lower cost beasts in my deck....same result. I would love to know if anyone else has used it successfully.....

Can you post the deck you are using and give us the exact scenario?  It's hard to go on "probably" the fact that your deck had several "lower cost" beasts. Did you have any 4 cost beasts specifically? 

Ah....it just clicked. All my beasts are 1,3,or5 cost beasts. I have no 2 or 4 cost beasts.  It's amazing how you read something over and over but keep interpreting wrong. I was reading 1 cost less, but I was thinking AT LEAST 1 cost less.  Thanks for your help.

There’s no 4 cost beasts in standard, so a 5 cost wouldn’t pull anything 

well none except for Krolusk Barkstripper, Mok'Nathal Lion, Burrowing Scorpid, and Circus Amalgam.

Tavish is one of those legendaries mostly unplayable right now but likely to get better during the next five expansions. Just like the other hunter legendary.

How did they think this card could work? There are some decent 1- and 3-drops, but there are almost no 2-drops. 

Here's all the 2-drop beasts:

Toad of the wilds, Rivier Crocolisk, Oasis Thrasher, Manafeeder Panthara, Dire Wolf Alpha, Hecklefang, Hyena, Scavenging Hyena, and Dancing Cobra. 

That's not a pretty list. 

The card is trash but somehow I managed to get the achievment in Wild. I just build my own deck with 2 copies of each beast with 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 mana cost, incluced the 6 mana hunter beast which reduced the cost of a random beast. Then you hope that it hits rhino. Climbed from silver something to Gold 7 lol dunno how I even managed to win. Did it just for the acm, in standard probably not possible. And he never lives for a turn.

tavish was the 1st legendary i pulled, tried it out in like 3 games, was iffy as balls to play ... just didnt feel right. looked up his stats, went "oh, ok" and poof, he was gone :) ofc he will get better in the future but nah, thanks dwarfy
