As I was on the train, desperately trying to get Wi-fi for my web browser to see the new nerfs, I kind of thought it would be a cool idea for Hearthpwn to have it's own app. I'm actually kind of surprised it doesn't already. Hearthstone has been out for sometime and there are plenty of other apps that offer deck building tips, card information, and other relevant services, but is there a more trusted place to go for this kind of data other than Hearthpwn? Personally, I don't think so. I think Hearthpwn has an extremely intuitive interface, organized tabs of information, and a knack for keeping the community informed as soon as possible. No other website does it quite like Heartpwn and the community is just as great. Whether it's positive or negative, the community is always alive on the threads and forums sharing opinions, ideas, and their knowledge of the game. Therefore, I think it makes perfect sense to have an application on your phone where you can access this easier.
That being said, I'm sure there are a lot of complications that go into this that I'm unaware of. There are well over 2,000 cards in the game (collectible and non-collectible) each with it's own webpage. There are thousands of forums as well as thousands of decks to sift through. It could be a lot to handle, but I think that an app would be very well utilized if put in the hands of Hearthpwn's community. I know I would use it!
A tab for the card information, top decks, recent forums, and the deck builder would be an amazing start if this were to ever become a thing as they are the most used features of this website.
Honestly this could be one of the features that I thought of if they ever start a patreon. I would gladly pay hearthpwn a few bucks a month combined with other people paying a few bucks a month to fund things like an official app (or at least a better mobile site) as well as other features they must want like maybe Innkeeper working just a smidge better or a search engine upgrade or something.
Basically I'm sure the reason we lack an app is merely because money, so if they ever ran a patreon it wouldn't be impossible to get one.

Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
What does a hearthpwn app accomplish if without WiFi/data?O.o
The point of website apps is to have a more streamlined version of the site for your device. Because of the optimization, these will use up less data and will be more likely to function with slightly unstable connections

But the mobile version is already streamlined enough. Don't see the point in spending resources building an app just for this. And as a user, I wouldn't install an new app on my phone if the mobile version of the website serves me well already.
I Feel the "innkeeper" software which is restricted only to PC should have a mobile version. As it is already linked to Hearthpwn, crafting decks shouldn't be a problem.

Looking back, my wording was poor. This was just an idea I had WHILE I was trying to get Wi-Fi. :P
But, I like the word NightCrawl3r used. It's a much more streamlined version of what we're trying to look at.
