Back to 'randommerryman' please - and good luck sorting this out! I don't envy you the work. Must admit, I never noticed anything requiring consent but perhaps I missed it. I refuse consent in most cases for most things, anyway. I come across EU GDPR stuff lots with work, and my Other Half even more so, and I've never seen a situation like this anywhere, but I get that it's been imposed on you. Given that, it seems like it's being handled as well as it can be under the circumstances. No complaints here.
