Just noticed there is another button for inserting code. If this doesn't work either, I suggest removing both the buttons on the editor which don't fecking work.

Code blocks should preserve whitespace/formatting and have a fixed width font.

I was trying to make a nice bar chart using ASCII but it came out all wrong (on Chrome anyway, maybe it works for other browsers).
Nothing about this from the people who maintain the site?
What's the point of having a "code" widget in the editor if it doesn't bloody work... It's like alcohol free beer...
