When I hit save deck from the deckbuilder screen the window that pops up is plain text editor. Which is odd as this one I am using right now is clearly a wysiwyg editor. As I cannot find a way to make any bbcode or html, other than the custom ones for the site, like [card]. This leaves all my deck writings to be rather plain and boring, with a why bother feeling. How can this be changed/fixed?
Fun. Not sure what causes this but I've seen it happen a couple of times in the past. This workaround should fix the issue!
I do not recommend ever running JavaScript random people give you on the internet, but this should work. Make sure the page is fully loaded before doing this.
Open up your Browser.
Go to the deckbuilder. Add a card to a deck. Click Save.
Press F12 to open the Inspector panel.
Switch to the Web Console tab in the Inspector Panel. It should be the second tab.
Copy and paste the following script into the ">>" field. Press enter.
$('.markup-selector').css({display: 'block'});
This script will unhide a select box which is hidden. The select box should be on top of the save button. It should be set to Plain Text. Change this over to WYSIWYG. Enter a deck description in the field (word or two) and hit save.
Thanks for the work around, it does fix things temporarily. If I go back and edit or make a new one it reverts back to plain text. Oh well I'll just keep a copy of the code handy until a more permanent solution arises.
Out of curiosity, were you referring to something like this?
If so, i do know how to reproduce that happening, it happens to me all the time if click the edit icon in my decks page on my profile because i want to revise my guide or title for example. I don't need to change any cards so i immediately click the save deck button. If you click it too fast it takes you to the modal mark-up page like that. If you wait a second or two to let it load it works as normal. I assume you noticed that short delay before it loads the decklist when you edit your deck. It will say 0/30 cards briefly then it will all appear and change to 30/30. That's basically when it happens in my experience. I made a lot of decks lol.
Ok so correction, it no longer works at all. I got it to activate once now the code when used creates the box to chose the different formats but when wysiwyg is selected it no longer changes the editor. In addition anything I write in the box wont save and I get just a blank write up.
Editing a deck once it has been toggled to wysiwyg keeps it in that mode. So I have figured out a repeatable work around, which just adds an extra step to your original plan Flux.
Open up your Browser.
Go to the deckbuilder. Add a card to a deck. Click Save.
Add some text in and save.
Edit and click save again
Press F12 to open the Inspector panel.
Switch to the Web Console tab in the Inspector Panel. It should be the second tab.
Copy and paste the following script into the ">>" field. Press enter "$('.markup-selector').css({display: 'block'});"
Click save (nothing shows up yet)
Edit then save 2nd time which now has a wysiwyg panel attached to pop up window...
Extra steps, but it works every time so far. Once it is stuck to the deck it can be freely edited with no further issues (until the next new deck).
FYI disabling all extensions, logging and clearing cookies, and even a brand new different browser doesn't resolve the ongoing issue. I shall continue to use the extended workaround however, and hopefully bother less now with this.
So because I enjoy solving problems (maybe why I love hearthstone so) I made a further experiment into solving the issue. The issue still is not resolved sadly, but I was able to find out the issue lies within my login account. I made a brand new dummy account to sign into hearthpwn and went and made a deck... boom correct editor on the first (and second) deck save. Logging out and back into my normal account, welcome back to the editor problem. Crazy, but true.

Sorry for the delayed response here.
I've edited your deck to see if I could reset the editor somehow. Could you try editing it and seeing if it works now
http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/629611-the-token-curator
If that didn't work, could you try disabling all browser addons or trying another browser to see if that resolves the issue?
If that doesn't work, have you tried logging out and clearing your site cookies?
