I haven't played a single Cockatrice match yet, so wouldn't be a good text. But as far as a chat solution, if someone sets up a dedicated Cockatrice server, it has a nifty built in chat.

For any future Cockatrice players, I'd just like to note two things.

First, most of us add HS in front of our name.  It makes it easier to differentiate Hearthstone players from normal MTG players.

Also, we have a community rulelist that we use for Cockatrice matches.  You can find it here:

And all it takes is one ***hole to argue about every ruling. Meh, I'm done with Hearthstone tonight, not in the mood anymore.

EDIT: Also, following the rules on the list, then if I were to use Shadowflame on Mana Addict, then it would resolve as this:

Shadowflame Cast -> Mana Addict Activates and Become 4/3 -> Shadowflame Resolves and deals 4 damage to all enemy minions after destroying Mana Addict.
