Oh, this one's easy af! Markus Persson, of course! I reckon not many of you know about him, but he's best known for creating Minecraft, which is my favorite game ever. I've been playing it ever since 2014, and I think I'll never stop enjoying this game. Whenever I'm angry or frustrated, the only way I can vent out my rage is by playing Minecraft. By the way, are there any pro gamers in Minecraft? If yes, could you please share which minecraft smp server you use and whether you'd recommend it?
Only one designer? No idea, but several times well earned my respect, even for games full of depth, or for damn amazing (and often tense) experiences. Like Paradox, Red Hook, or The Game Kitchen.
Bit left field, but I am going for Zachtronics. If you like puzzle games, Opus Magnum is a classic. If you enjoy coding, Exapunks is great, and TIS-100 is pretty hardcore (assembly language coding).
there is many choices, but actually pretty hard for me to pick a favorite video game designer, but if I really had to pick one, I might pick Hideo Kojima.
I'd have to say my favourite are my friends, they ain't released anything yet but been making a new card game for the last 3 years (only 3 of them). The cards are just stand-ins but they're using marvel comics so its easier for them to design effects for the characters. It's looking pretty complex now with lots of ways to play but is still very basic in terms of animations and has zero interface or way to build decks yet, they have to literally programme the deck into the game but it's very fun to play when it doesn't crash or some bizarre bug happens, I'm just very impressed with what they have so far accomplished while running full time jobs and one of them recently gained a new family member. They could definitely sell it to a larger company and make a fair wedge or develop it without marvel properties and getting sued by them...
I forget his name, but the first Bomberman game was apparently made by 1 guy in a weekend by himself. He was infamous for obsessively chewing gum too and when he'd run out of gum, hed grab handfuls of pencils and chew the wood and lead to a pulp LOL
Peter Molyneux for Black and White abd Fable. Controversial designer due to falling short on some promises, but a fantastic visionary that marked my childhood.
Who is your favorite game designer of all time? Is it me? :P
What are your favorite games from said video game designer and why?
Discuss!

Personally, I don't really have a favorite video game designer.
recently ? Sean Murray (Hello Games - No Man's Sky)
because he produced a game other devs had not even dare dreaming creating

Dan Salvato
Sid Meier
English is not my native language, so, with a high probability, mistakes were made.

Well, definitely NOT Dean Ayala nor any of the later HS designers.
I liked the guys who made Heroes 3. New world computing.
