I love card battle games and I like Monopoly, this game is a marriage in the heavens, I play the Culdcept 2 in PS2 emulator very often, the "history" is crap but hell, the playability is awesome, when you have all the cards and the game will lost the challenge you can put 2 AI vs you alone and the game is fun again.
But one for the Wayback machine is Wizardry 1: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord
We couldn't afford an Apple II at home, but my mom had one at work. My brother and I would go into her office and play on weekends. Ahhh the days of swapping 5.25in floppy disks.....

So retro, wow... Looks pretty good to be honest! ;)
maybe Baldur's Gate 2, Witcher 3, or Mass Effect 2..
maybe Civilisation 4 or 5...
maybe Mordhau...
maybe Red Dead Redemption 2..
maybe Populous 2, Canon Fodder or The Secret of Monkey Island...
maybe Hearthstone...no BS...I still love it even now.
maybe The Last of Us...yeah...actually I'll go with that. The Last of Us it is. That game was real achievment in narrative terms for the games industry...it moved me to genuine tears...never had that with a game before...in near 30 years of gaming.

Didn't play The Last of Us... Maybe I should do it... :P
What's wrong with Naughty Dog? Tell me, please! :)
Play The Last of Us Part 1 with care to get every collectible you can get so you get the full picture of what they had as the story.
Then play The Last of Us Part 2 and realize the nonsense they pulled, the contradictions and retconning they had to make to give a bad story enough relevance to make some sense, while in the process, destroying the meaning of the excellent ending of the first game.
Never expected Naughty Dog to go this way, not after over a decade loving their games, both Uncharted Games and the Last of Us.
As I said in my previous post, I didn't play The Last of Us Part 1, but truth is I watched some Youtube videos about Part 2. Aaaaaand I didn't like them, so I somewhat understand what you are saying! :)

Oh, but forgot to mention I like what I have seen about the new Crash Bandicoot! ;)

You should play it if you have the chance. It's an excellent game.

Yeah. But that one isn't going to be Naughty Dog, it's Activision doing it, not Sony, with Toys for Bob developing.
OMG, totally missed that! You're right! Thank you so much, DiamondDM13, I will try to play The Last of Us Part 1! Maybe not tomorrow or in a month, but I will definitely do it, since my professional life is fully dedicated to video games, hehe! ;)
Star control 2. Someone should make a movie based on it.
Hi Fog_za! Never heard of Star Control. What was it about?
Star control 1 was sort of an arcade style PC shooter game with a tacked on bare bones strategy game. No-one now would get why Star control 2 was so great and such a leap forward (graphics wouldn't hold up now, although fans put together an HD version ) but it had resource gathering, exploration, diplomatic, quest and action component, and the overarching story was really good. Kind of like an evolution of Elite (another early space trading game) but with a bit more focus.

Sounds cool (especially the diplomatic thing)! :) Thaks for the explanation, Fog_za! :)

Holy f...k! Stop mentioning Heroes 3, never played the goddamn game, makes me feel bad! XD
Still, I can't get it out of my head! XD
Its Suikoden 2. Another great classic JRPG, definitely my top 5.
Fable, the lost chapters.
Hands down the best rpg I have ever played and normally revisit it every couple of years or so for a play through.
In no particular order:
Sid Meier's Pirates!
Frontier
Thief 1 & 3
Hired Guns
H.E.D.Z.
Evolva
