just thought I would use this forum to tell you about our upcoming TCG/RPG game Requia Online for iOS, Android and Windows. We just launched our first small teaser site in english and german. So if you are interested and want to be one of the first to try it out - we would love to welcome you in our new Forum.
The game is a mix from RPG and TCG, it has real time combat, pvp and coop and some other unique features.
Well since we want the Requia Universe to grow slow but steady we may be hiring sooner or later ;) - there are already 3 high fantasy novels of Requia available - sadly they are only available in German as of yet :/
Since it's just a logo - I guess it is fine if its not so easy to read? The longer you have to look at it - the more it may get interesting and the more you should be able to memorise it - but maybe that's just me :)
This is always a very heated topic. I have invested a lot of thoughts about it. On one side you need to keep up with the high development/server costs and on the either side you want to give your players a fair gaming experience. So I have taken the following actions in order to prevent P2W via the following strategy:
First off ingame currency (coins) and real currency (crystals) is strictly separated!
As usual in a TCG you can always buy card packs with crystals. However you will also be able to get those card packs via daily quests and other rewards in the game. So sooner or later anyone will have a full selections of cards with which you can play and hopefully trade with your friends. 3rd party market shouldn't be an issue too, since the secure trading system only allows nearby trades from mobile phone to mobile phone (face2face).
Then since this is also a RPG game there are many more types of cards you will collect like item cards (one time cards in your deck!), equipment cards (determines your base stats - like equipment in an rpg/mmo), resource cards (required for crafting) All those cards can only be earned by playing the game, slaying monsters or collecting them... and never with crystals!
While you can also shorten your crafting time by investing crystals - this does not help you if you don't have the resources to craft in the first place - and as mentioned before - those you need to collect yourself and this process can't be sped up with crystals too!
Then enchanting double cards also costs in game coins - so even if you have a lot of double cards from buying card packs - you are limited by the amount of in game coins you have in order to enchant them.
So even if you would invest a lot of money - your advantage would always get blocked by those measurements.
There are also a few other smaller gimmicks you can buy with crystals - like more deck slots or custom avatar image... but its just minor stuff to support the game :)
That's about it - I think this way should keep both sides happy and also make it possible to generate some income which in return can be used to evolve this game into something even bigger.
I think if you just turned the R it would be fine.
But by turning the "R" we would lose the mirror effect of the "A" at the end - which then looks so "casual". I for one think for a logo to be memorisable it's not so important to be clearly readable rather than to look interesting.
from what i see this seems to have anime card art?
sorry im out then
Yeah if you don't like that art, then it is most probably not for you. We had to decide between the usual comic style or a more realistic style. Since we never liked the toonish/comic style of most games, but making more realistic graphic art is very hard to do we have chosen to go the middle route, combining a more realistic style together with anime/manga.

So hope to hear from you.
Without the post title I would never have guessed what the game name was from that logo
That's definitely interesting :). For me this logo is already so clear that I have never thought about that someone may not get the name out of it.
You're not hiring. :|

Sorry, I'm with kiril. It's extremely hard to read.

What is the monetisation strategy?

Good Luck with the project, but there is only one CCG for me!
