If you're a fan of Hearthstone's dungeon runs or deckbuilding games in general, you might like Roguebook.
Roguebook is a brand new project we have available on Kickstarter for the next 16 days or so, and we're almost 75% funded.
We still don’t have the resources for any kind of massive marketing. It's word of mouth that has worked for us in the past, and the only thing we know to rely on.
I'm here to answer any and all questions you have about the game, and:
!!Like last time, I'm going to be giving away alpha keys for Roguebook randomly in the thread each day!!.
All you need to do is make a comment in the thread and I'll randomly select a few people to PM keys to.
To get things started, here are 3 for you. First come, first serve!

You can enter these on Steam. (Please post a comment when you take a key so I know to strike them out when I see them taken)
So, that's why I'm here. Check out Roguebook!
You already have an Alpha, but are in Kickstarter?
Yes, but the alpha is made of cardboard and crayons. It looks very little like the image above, but has most gameplay concepts functional and, from what we're told, is pretty fun.
We need the Kickstarter to be successful for us to make the full game.
What is Roguebook?
Roguebook is a single-playerroguelike deck-builder that takes place in a procedurally generated world - inside the Faeria universe.
It builds upon the entirely new genre of card games opened up by games like Dream Quest and Slay the Spire - and, of course, Hearthstone dungeon crawls.
We're really excited about this style of game, and are putting our own unique spin on it.
Choose Two Heroes
Boom. First step. Now you've got a crew.
Each hero has their own unique abilities and set of cards. Every combination of heroes behaves completely different. As of an experimental alpha patch today, each pair even has unique Super Moves.
Here's an example of a hero and their cards:
Thats Seifer. He's kind of a jerk.
World Map
One area we wanted to push this genre of card games was to have an actual world map environment to explore, not just a series of points or otherwise. Each chapter in Roguebook is a completely different area to explore with all kinds of things that can kill you.
Gems and Sockets
Each card in Roguebook has a chance to have a certain amount of sockets. In these sockets, you can place a wide variety of gems to upgrade them in interesting ways. Gems also have assigned rarities. The rarest of them can completely transform your deck.
We've gotten some very good feedback about our gem system and some people say it is their favorite thing about the game.
Anyway, you can decide if that's true or not.
Roguebook Kickstarter
To make Roguebook, we have set a €60,000 goal on Kickstarter, of which now about €44,831 is pledged. (Yes €, we are a Belgium-based company)
We need your help to do it, and we appreciate your support.
It looks really nice, I have always appreciated deckbuilding games in general (last really good one was Slay the Spire for me) and Dungeon Run in HS is my favourite game mode.
Third key is used (no mentioned in a thread) so I will try my chances with random pick, would really want to check this.
The humanoid character is giving a 'Ragnarok Online' vibe - nostalgia mode activated.
This looks like a ton of fun! I haven't had an opportunity to play slay the spire but I have played a few mobile clones and I enjoy the style. The faeria universe will be a nice fit for this type of game play.
This looks great. Like somebody else said it seems to me that this can become a more polished and extended version of Slay the Spire which I personally found rather lackluster and linear. More exciting cards would be really great in such a game.
Hello everyone!
I'm a member of the indie studio Abrakam, creators of the strategy card game Faeria.
You may remember my last thread about Faeria here.
Why am I back?
Well, the first thread went so well - and now I have something new to share that is probably right down everyone's alley:

Remember, if you leave a comment in the thread you could be randomly selected for an alpha key which I'll be sending daily!
Thanks everyone!

Used 0XWEY-RZ9ZF-LDTQ9
I have spent unhealthy amount of time playing both card games and roguelikes and combination of two is always nice

Anyway, best of luck with the project!
The Faeria Universe is actually pretty immersive. This game seems to build upon it. A must try for me 🙂
Oh wow this looks amazing!!!!
Looks great, would be happy to try it out.
I think i stay with Slay the Spire for now, but mabey in the future
This looks like a ton of fun! I haven't had an opportunity to play slay the spire but I have played a few mobile clones and I enjoy the style. The faeria universe will be a nice fit for this type of game play.
Looks promisimg so far :)
...Soul of Wyrm. Soul of Root. Heart of Void...
This sounds really fun! I'd love to try it.
I've always felt that there was a lot of room for improvement in the foundation laid by Slay the Spire.
This looks like a much more fleshed-out version of that archetype, so I'm interested to see how it goes!
"Why, you never expected justice from a company, did you? They have neither a soul to lose nor a body to kick." -- Lady Saba Holland
So... since there is 9 people total (beside 2 that used the codes) in the thread I guess there is no hope for random alpha key anymore, right?
If they don't raise another $13k in nine days, it won't matter.

Here's 4 more keys for those who want them!
Please post when you take them so I can strike them out.
I have used the key PYI2K-2CQWR-ZP95P. Thanks!
Used B8DB4-KL9EW-LJED2! Thanks!
