Less Tryhards and more fun focused Deck in Ladder?
Then I could imagine to switch
Yes, I'd say the overall culture is more positive. I've run into several odd combo decks on ladder within the past day.
I doubt they have a Toxic Detector when people log into Faeria.
There will always be jerks, and ppl mainly remember toxic behavior. If Fearia becomes more popular, eventually there will also be some toxic guys.
In my friendlist are only nice people....
Also " Less Tryhards and more fun focused Deck in Ladder?" sorry but wtf??
Ladder is about tryharding. That comment seems to fall into the " My opponent is playing cards! Or; He doesn’t let me OTK him with my fun deck" category...
It's the other way around. They used to be ftp, but they switched to btp. I tried them after the switch to btp (because I don't like the level grind of ftp) and bought the full collection at once, about a month ago. (And yes, there will be new expansions in the future for $14 each every two months, with half coming out each month. I bought the first and found it worthwhile.)
Oh wow, yea I haven't played in a while with the release of Boomsday. I'll have to check out Faeria again, I like the game enough to financially support it. I didn't like idea of trying to maintain two f2p card games simultaneously and Faeria doesn't have a mobile version so I mainly play it when I want a break from Hearthstone.
Faeria is a small company that doesn't have the financial capital to advertise heavily across a variety of platforms so I doubt it. I'm sure he's promoting the game because he genuinely enjoys it. Besides, spending a few minutes typing a few paragraphs about something you're passionate about hardly seems like work to me.
B2P is very problematic for me. I can read loving reviews and convince myself that I'll like a game, pay $$ for it, and in the first 10 minutes realize it's just not for me. At that point the developers have gotten as much out of me as they will out of a dedicated long-term player. That sucks.
"We're not F2P but we'll give you the new player experience and a bit of progression for free so you can see how you like it" is what I want in a game.

Shudderwock means driving a clown car in circles around your opponent while he swings his sword at you. Half the time he chops you and your car to pieces. The other half you park on his legs and 40 clowns come out one by one, trampling him to death.
I wanna buy a playstation and go for Last of Us 2 ............. but I will never leave Hearthstone !!!!
Now we're talking. I never understand why people always bring up other card games as hearthstone's competiton. Please... hearthstone has had, and will have the card game market locked down for years yet.
But there is only so much time in the day...reality is I don't play hearthstone if I'm spending all my free time with another game...a real AAA game. Last Of Us was literally the most cinematic incredible gaming experience I've had in years. It made such and impression I have to go back to stuff like Ocarina of Time of the N64 or even Secret of Monkey Island on the Amiga to compete.
Less Tryhards and more fun focused Deck in Ladder?
Why are you complaining about tryharders in the "competitive" environment? Where should they be tryharders if not on the Ladders? I too dislike how Casual have become in both Standard and Wild, because there is where being "tryharder" is just ridicolous. But into Ladders finding only top tier decks is right.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

And yet you STILL feel the need to come to Hearthstone forums and talk about Hearthstone?!?!?!?!
He's talking about Faeria and why he enjoys it more than Hearthstone. It's not the first topic to promote the game.

I can not wait for Last Of Us 2.
No iOS version?! Wow, what an incredible fail! The game probably won’t last for even 2 years. Instantly forgettable copycat.

How are you enjoying Artifact?
