@Atmaz - I'm really enjoying the game myself, but I have a few questions that maybe you can answer for me:
1. I'm playing the free version from Steam, but I keep seeing a purchase option for the "Base Game". Does this mean there are cards that I don't currently have access to?
2. I know you just released the "Fall of Everlife" expansion and I wondered if I will be able to craft cards or earn them any other way than through unlocking the ability to get them in chests by purchasing the DLC? I played in Pandora and drafted some of the new cards, so I didn't know if they would show up in other ways.
The game is absolutely beautiful and a lot of fun. I also LOVE the solo content that is available. My only complaint is that the purchasing options are confusing and unless I'm missing something I can't even tell in-game what cards I'm missing or how to acquire them. Thanks!

"To build or destroy...only you decide which joy." - Last Crack
I bought the game becouse i was very intrested into try it. Few minutes to download the game and go.
Nice hub, very clear to find everything:
- Top left the "game bottons",(Collection, Chest, Shop)
- Top center the Play botton
- Top right the "social bottons"(Daily missions, Friend list and options)
- Right side the permanent banner of "promotions" (like the expansion and premium banners) even if you have them in your account (possible to remove them?) and "news" (like updates and so on).
Mostly i did the "campaign", 1 arena (6/6 wins vs AI) and 2 pvp matches (1 win and 1 lost). I can tell you my first impressions on the game.
It is very nice. Even if it's simple in mechanics (place 2 basis land, put/upgrade a specific land, draw 1 extra card or get 1 extra "mana" (called Faeria) ) it's also very strategic becouse you have to chose between them and cards sinergies/effects, "spells" (called Events) and buildings. Build the map fast or slow, ramp in "mana" and summon big minions or lots of them, move/place them on the map. Of course i don't know all the cards but i liked it and i'll continue on it too.
Only 1 thing isn't true at all. With gems you can buy the golden chest that gives you golden cards so basically, if someone wants to shop he can have all the cards with money. The good point is that even if you don't shop you can have lots of cards in few time (i have 100+ cards on about 400 in few hours of game) and the free craft here is very appreciated and gives a true hand to a player if he has the patience to continue in playing the game.
About the cards, i had the impression that the power level of them is very high and all the colors have good ones for what i saw but as i said, i have to know them better.
Thank you for the feedback!
About Mythic Chests, yes it is technically true you could buy a bunch of gems and complete your collection that way - but it is very inefficient and not something we expect players to do. Mythic Chests contain many more things other than cards - such as avatars, orbs, cardbacks, wells, and lore pages. These are meant to be cosmetic bonuses, the true path for finishing your collection is simply playing the game.
Thanks for the game. I just started playing it and it's awesome.
I just did the last tutorial mission. I kept the guy back that does damage to face when played as I didn't want to waste it. Turns out that was probably what I was meant to do given how the mission plays out. I won't say any more for spoilers though.
I love how you build a map and use different land tiles for Bonuses and stuff. It's a cool representation of how land types would look in a computer game I think, you did a good job with that.
Do you have graveyard or something like that in the works? you should totally do an undead expansion and add a 5th land type.
I will leave a review once I've played more anyway.
Thanks again.
By design, there is no graveyard or 'exile' area of any kind. This is in an effort to keep things as simple as possible in a game that is otherwise very complex. That said, we're often adding new mechanics / card tech often and nothing is really off the table if we determine something will make the game more fun.
ah my bad, the yellow or desert represents the sort of undead and demons and stuff does it, or do you get bits of everything in every element type? Yellow seemed to have similarities to warlock in hearthstone I think.
Yellow does indeed have masochistic elements built within it - similar to a Warlock in HS. Yellow often uses health as a resource and is able to 'drain' life back to keep it up.
However, Yellow doesn't need to be played this way. Many players use it in 'tempo' style decks and it also has a very powerful Rush arsenal.

1. If you are playing Faeria at all - you already have the base game. One problem we've had with Steam when upgrading player accounts for free or giving the game away is that Steam cannot 'detect' that a player already owns the game, if that makes sense. If you already have access to the game, do not purchase it again - not necessary!
2. You must own the Fall of Everlife to be able to craft any of those 20 cards (40 tomorrow) or to open them in Battle Chests. Pandora mode, however, will always provide access to all cards when drafting so you can play with them even if you don't own the expansion.
Glad you're enjoying the game, but sorry for the purchase confusion! If I didn't cover all of that, please PM me and I will try to work out what the problem might be.
I do have a question, would that key work on someone who owns Faeria but not the DLC? That happens to be my case.
If you own the base game of Faeria, the key should not work. Steam should detect you already have the game/DLC in your library and inform you of this.
I have another question I asked in the Subreddit but never got answered. Do you guys have any intention of animating the Mythic cards? Their Art I mean. Also, I wanted to know if you guys actively want your design to avoid Combo possibilities, specifically OTK ones. I'm asking this because I don't see that sort of stuff that often and aside from Aurora's Dream decks and a couple others I like to play, they don't seem to exist in the game.
Animating Mythic cards are something we've definitely thought of, but the problem is the sheer amount of resources it would take to animate all or even some of our cards. So the answer here is that we want that, but it's very difficult to say if we'll ever be able to. If we do, it would start on a very select amount of the card library, perhaps Legendaries only.
Regarding Combo OTK: We have had some very problematic issues with decks like this in the past, and we generally try to avoid anything where a player can set up a win in one turn with no possible counter from the opponent. There are still some ways to do this in a game, though generally they are more like "2TK's" with cards like Possessed Ursus or Ninja Toad + Buffs.
@Atmaz I've pretty much always been a fan of the Annoying Gnat and other combo decks and since they were changed ages ago, decks based around them just feel lackluster. I know that you guys at Abrakam are hands on with how the meta is shaped so do you ever think it'll get to the point where old cards can be unnerfed? I know that some cards like Earthcraft were broken, but other things like Feed the Forest and Forbidden Library are incredibly hard to splash for. Thanks!
I just really want super toads to be back in the game.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
I tried the game even before it came to steam, and i have 61 hours played in the steam base game, but i dont see myself spending 13euros for a DLC (thats just too much)
Its hard to compete for players and being B2P with expensive DLC's kills it :/ Shame coz the game is fun and different
i'm a F2P in Hearthstone too
Edit: my account is level 20 apparently, fun times!
I've been playing this game now for several weeks. Still ranking up and earning cards. I've only played solo modes, so read this review with that in mind. First impressions: Overall, LOVE IT! Great concept. Really fun. Blends together a lot of aspects from games that I love to create a unique experience. Super fun game with lots of potential for variety. Kudos to the devs!
Biggest criticism is that the game does not seemed to be very well optimized. It EATS UP my laptop battery life and forced the fan to kick on shortly after opening. It's not a big deal but caught me by surprise. I hope it's something the devs work on. I also wish I could buy battle chests (with in game currency). It's a little tedious having to earn them over time. I can buy mythic ones, why not regular ones?
Taking pros and cons into consideration, this game is lots of fun and worth the money I spent to get it. It has become my go to when I get tired of HS.
Not to say it's replaced Hearthstone for me as I will always still play it, but it's totally took over right now for what I want to play.
I guess because my favourite games are strategy RPG's like Xcom, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics and that sort of thing, then combines with my love of TCG's is the perfect game for me.
If anyone else here fits into the same niche as me with tabletop RPG experience as well, this game is basically made for you. I urge you to check it out.
Thanks for the game. I just started playing it and it's awesome.

yeah dude I have been playing yellow rush. I just crafted my 3rd Sagittarius for it so the deck is almost done now. I was a little disappointed to see manta rider get a nerf only a few hours after finally obtaining the card, but I guess yellow needed shaken up a bit as manta rider was in all the archetypes.
The thing is that I think it hurt tempo and flyers more than it will have hurt rush, because they lost manta as a collector it seems. I think yellow rush has found some footing already, but yellow tempo seems to have completely vanished for now. I guess it's only day 2 of the patch though.
Loving those rainbow rakoan decks btw, even if they are a bit OP. They remind me of Murloc decks a bit from HS with how the buffs work with the new cards, but then they have the ability to shoot each other out of canons and stuff.
I actually seen a R/Y/G yak deck last night that used the rakoan cannoneer as a finisher. basically using the red yak to constantly chip away t health with it's ability.
I'm personally going to try a yakapult in something with yellow so I can fire yaks at face then summon the topaz yaks anywhere where they land. Could have some nice synergy in the right deck.
I also see that the blue yak is seeing play and doing very well... and to think there were naysayers that said rakoan and yak decks would "suck" hahaha.
They should not have let you all post this thread, I downloaded and started playing Faeria about 4-5 days ago. Haven’t logged into hearthstone since....... damn
This was probably answered before, but, what kind of money investment am I looking at to get competitive? Also, any word on mobile? Also, I'm greedy for them keys but I'll probably buy it regardless

Thanks for all the comments everyone!
Catching up for the week:
Have won both Faeria and Fall of Everlife keys! Will be PM'd shortly.
And a bonus Faeria key for anyone to grab:
2MWAJ-TNERE-0ZLTV
At this point I am beginning to run out of keys - but I will continue distributing them in this thread about once a week until activity dies down!
I will edit the OP to reflect this.
Tomorrow, August 21st, we release 20 more cards in Fall of Everlife!
This next set introduces Subtypes in Faeria, or tribal synergy - whatever you'd like to call it. It's a big deal.
Ok, now to answer some questions!
Thank you for the feedback!
