Ok so I've heard a bunch of good stuff about this game and I've been wanting to download it as I heard is kinda similar to Hearthstone but it also has a lot of different mechanic that make it highly enjoyable and I also heard in a matter of money is better than HS, my question here is: How does it compare in a financial matter to HS? is it considered cheaper cause the packs (Or whatever you get there) are cheaper in comparison or because you actually get more free stuff and better overall rewards? The thing is that I won't be putting a single dime in that game as I rather put that money into more Hearthstone tbh So it would be a completely F2P account but I want to know how viable that can be, I don't want to be super hardcore into it and reach high legend (or whatever the equivalent it is), something like the equivalents of rank 10-5 would be my mid/long term goal in that game. So for any person with experience, do you think the game is worth it as a completely F2P player or would I have to grind an absurd amount, would I still be able to build decent decks without any IRL money investment?
Every single CCG on the market is more generous than Hearthstone, not because developers are good Samaritans, but because they have to be generous in order to survive on the market and the competition is fierce.
Anyway, I think you can do reasonably well in Legends as a F2P, no doubt about it. Reading a reddit thread on Twitch drops might be a good idea. Twitch drops are basically in-game rewards that you earn for watching a stream of Legends on Twitch. Drops are usually something small like 50 gold or 50 dust, but sometimes you get lucky and earn a legendary card or 1500 dust!
Make sure to check out CVH's channel on YouTube, he's got some great videos aimed at beginners such as crafting guides or budget versions of meta decks.
You get daily quests AND a daily bonus (including several packs a month).
You get 6 cards instead of 5 per pack
Arena rewards are more
Much better rare, epic and legendary drop rates
Buying cards with dust is a bit cheaper
I did spend money for the starter packages and another adventure. Great value for about 30$. Packs can be bought for a similar amount of money than in HS. It only has one adventure anyways so better to start now than later. :) At least I would say it's fun enough to have a serious look.
However, the game is fine and fun. I do like HS better due to boards, graphics, cards etc. but Elder Scrolls is pretty close.
I did not play ladder yet though, so can't really tell about that.

One quick question, can this starter pack and the one adventure be bought with in-game currency or it has to be money?
1st - single player story mode. You will get starter cards and some legs too. It s free it s like tutorial.
2nd - starter pack - 5 dollars or 10, i forgot, only for real money like in HS 10 packs plus 1 leg plus 3 special golden commons with alternate art (rly cool thing that can be cool in HS too) .
3d - Single player story with cards, like adventure in HS. 3 acts each 1k gold or real money i don't know how much, but it's ok buying with gold. For 3k gold you will get 40 cards.
I was a big fan of elderscrolls. It was my main game for 5 months and i did reach legend all 5 months. The game has so many good things going for it.It has the prophecy system which adds so much strategy by itself,it has the the dual lane which is awesome and it's super rewarding to play.Just the fact i created an expensive control sorcerer deck(purple+blue) that pushed me to legend in the first 15 days i played should make it clear how f2p friendly it is.Lastly arena is 100X better than hs arena. Not only it is more skill based but the rewards put hs to shame. For example a 7-0 (7 wins is cap) will net you 3 packs+200 dust+150 gold+(a pack or a legendary).
Now the downsides...They butchered their game with the skyrim expansion. They had the great idea of making the prophecy cards proactive instead of reactive so they turned the prophecy mechanic form anti face tool to anti comeback tool. What i mean is that an aggro deck in high ranks is more rewarded for having its runes broken than a control deck.Did you manage to stabilze and create a board that can kill in one turn the smorc opponent?Well too bad...by braking their runes you lost lethal, you give them a board again or in worse case lethal...To make things even worse they nerfed everything that made non ramp control decks strong by nerfing the best yellow and blue stacking cards. As a result the meta became super smorc decks which put pirate warrior to shame and super greedy scout decks. In hs that would be a battle between more aggresive pirate warrior and a more greedy jade druid that can ramp 2x faster and further(max mana is 15).
Then their game is full of technical issues and their technical support is non existant. After buying the dark brotherhood expansion i couldn't use the shop at all.I and about 25% of the playerabase couldn't buy anything with real money and their support team was infuratingly cluess.I logged in a month ago and the bug still persists after 6 f***king months. Not only that but the game has bugs in itself. The lethal minions don't lethal always, the ordering which shit happen is not consistent and sometimes effects don't work or freeze(rarely but still).
Generally the core game is awesome but they do everything they can to kill it.Maybe things have changed in the last month i haven't touched though.I don't know.
I'd actually say it worse, while they may be more "generous" give stuff out the best decks require rarer cards. Most of the best decks require many legendaries and in ESL many legendaries you can play 3 copies of in a deck, these legendaries are so efficient that they isn't really an replacement cards at lower rarities. This is even true for many of the aggro decks. Some of the legendaries are limited to one of per deck but these ones tend to win you the game when played (imagine deathwing+Y'shaarj and not having to discard your hand).
You need more legendaries and you'll be at a larger disadvantage for not having them.
You also don't get full dust refunds on cards when they are nerfed and they are even slower than HS to nerf cards despite there being for more problem cards in the game.
Then there are the gameplay issues. Despite having 50 card decks stating hand sizes are only 3 cards, meaning control vs aggro games are decided by opening hands 90% of the time. Many control vs Control games come down to who draws their super legendary fist. Despite having very few RNG cards they have managed to make their game more RNG based than hearthstone.
I'd recommend spellweaver if you want a digital CCG that is better than HS both money and gameplay wise.

Saying RNG isn't detracting from skill in hearthstone, won't convince anyone it's a good idea. It just shows your too stupid to understand the basics principles of good game design.

I somewhat agree with the rest of your post, but this is simply not true. They usually react much faster than HS devs, although there are some exceptions.(Supreme Atromancer for example)

so it¡s basically Hearthstone with worse UI? after all it took T5 3 whole years to print decent and usable AoE.

Also, they are not afraid to buff cards.
All I know is that I tried it this summer, after a week, a bunch of cards seemed like problems, I went to the forums to see if it was just me, but no everyone was complaining about the cards, the nerfs come out a couple of days after and most of the card were untouched. no more nerfs happened before I quite the game.

Never thought of the fact that those cards may only be a problem for beginners that know little of the game and that in reality they are fine?
That's why I checked the forums, what's your obsession with stalking me and not reading the relevant parts of my post.

I have no idea of which cards are or aren't fine in tes legends because i've dropped that game ages ago, but even when i was there people cryed about perfectly fine cards all the times. So it's not really telling me much.
Oh and don't get your hopes up, your are not important enough for me to "stalk" you. I simply read the comments and reply to those that i find incorrect or too much "i know everything you know nothing".
If none of the cards people are crying about get changed, then yes there is a problem. And as you have repeatedly quoted my post despite the answer to your question being in the original post, it still sure sounds like stalking.

So not really remember for starter packs. I think this is rather a real money promotion. Adventure can be bought with in-game currency.
It has also complete decks which you can buy for some cheap in-game gold.

I used to play TESL but stopped. I didn't like how the meta was evolving and I actually got to love Eternal instead. But it is closer to Hearthstone.
Eternal: https://www.direwolfdigital.com/eternal/register/?ref=180c0383-f75d-48eb-942b-7a5c78b4fdbb
Hearthstone: https://battle.net/recruit/GV2XRPRX5L?blzcmp=raf-hs&s=HS&m=mac
TESL is strictly better than Hearthstone in every way. I play both.
Agreed, Legends is better in every conceivable way.
