spot on here... i tried gwent in closed beta and again in open beta i logged in briefly last night. I can't really get myself into it, I appreciate the nuance of the round system and the game itself. However, the ui is clunky feeling... especially the collection manager. These feel like deal breakers to me... I am not a competitive player and hearthstone is fun, it does have a lot of rng but I don't mind that. A good ui experience I think is one of the most important qualities for me. I mean gwent has the same game board for every match... I personally look forward to another game board being added to the rotation every expansion. It's clicking on those clickables during a variety of matches that really help ease any boredom, frustration, etc that could be there if your staring at that grown set of rows over and over.
Yes, UI is pretty bad and need some reworking. Full screen mulligan is #1 issue as for me. Last actions list is not good enough too. Collection manager is lesser issue, because it's not a thing you see often. And overall I'd like more lighter colors in UI too. But whatever.
Gwent's UI is likely subject to change, since it's still in Beta. They haven't even released the Campaign yet, which is going to be coming when they move to Gwent 1.0

I really like Gwents game mechanics. However the Graphical UI seems dull.
I'm not looking to start a world war of debate, just curious what others think comparing to Hearthstone, ESL Legends

HS is pretty and simple. That's why it's more appealing to the majority.
