I have that book. My father bought it to me around fifteen years ago. I don't remember specifically why, but I disliked it with passion. I don't recommend it.
“You're Making Me Hate You: A Cantankerous Look at the Common Misconception That Humans Have Any Common Sense Left”.
Few books make me laugh at loud, but this is one of them (hitchhikers guide another), a very cynical look at some of the every day struggles. It’s a light and fun read.
Some good suggestions in this thread also, definitely some input for this year’s summer holiday
