Chaotic Good or Chaotic Evil, can't really decide which one. I guess it all depends on the mood I wake up in the morning... XD
Since today is a good day (Argentina's Friend's Day), I voted for Chaotic Good! :)
Your turn now...
Well if have to answer honestly, it's chaotic neutral. I have a few personal rules that i never break but i dont mind "bending" the rest to my favour.
I also do not consider my self good because i really think that very few things are. Evil in its most forms is easy to identify. Does someone or something causes harm for self benefit or for the sake of it?Boom its evil.Easy. Good on the other side....is ambiguous. So many times something or someone with good intentions has caused terrible suffering. So i do not consider my self good but i do not consider it evil either. As a result by the process of elimination i am neutral.
Talking about good, I used to be such a pure soul when I was a kid, I was borderline ridiculous... XD Yeah, I know, that's something strange and weird to say, but it's the truth, I still can't believe the thoughts I used to have, always worried about everything and everyone (including all type of life forms). :P That's why I still believe in good people (and the fact I actually know many of them)! ;)
Never forget we are all the same, my dear friend... The same shit! (Just kidding... XD)
It depends, usually in RPG games I choose Neutral during my first playthrough and in my next tries I choose my allignement depending on the party I'm aiming for.
Oh, and happy friend's day to you too, jainaishot!!! Take care!!! :)
The thing is my dear friend that being pure or kindhearted doesn't make you good. You can be both and still commit uspeakable acts under specific circumstances and being brainwashed. Let me use 2 examples
1.Some centuries ago India had a terrible problem with snake infestations. So they decided to reward everyone who killed a snake and brought its corpse as proof. Then the majority of the population started raising snakes instead of killing the existing ones. When the law was retracted, the population of snakes was nearly doubled instead of decreased.
2. This will be a bit political so i put in spoiler. Read it at your own peril
The pro life groups. Sure abortion is something very upleasant for the mother and an outright murder of the fetus. But what is the alternative?Forcing mother to give birth?Bringing children to this world only to be abandoned? And most importantly abortions won't stop. They will be done secretly in unfitting places without the woman receiving the professional help she deserves and needs. It will lead with mathematical certainty to far greater problems and issues. Yet after many conversations with these people, i have seen that they have conviced themselves that are just and good.
Long story short, the way to hell is paved with good intentions and there is nothing more terrifying that a man who is certain that he is good.
I fully agree with the last sentence. I just started this thread for fun, that's all. The thing is, everything is relative in the end. Good and evil are just human concepts and our brains only sense and understand what they are capable of, which means the reality we see is extremely limited. That's very hard to accept for some people, but I don't care. XD
Sorry, that was a very short reply. Honestly, I should have put more effort into it, but I will wait for yours now. :)
As soon as I saw that Sherman posted in here, I was certain he would call himself Chaotic Neutral. I come to the page and, sure enough, he's stuck between choosing Chaotic Good and Chaotic Evil =P.
As boring as it sounds, I might honestly be a True Neutral character in that I try to not care about anything and just live my own life, controlling only what I can control haha. But, I still believe in trying to be good and not being a douche, so maybe I lean towards neutral good.

Haha, good life choice, Anatak89! Thanks for being fully honest! :)
I know bro, sometimes i just post serious answers so i can read them myself and appreciate my glorious intelligence and wisdom.
Haha, don't tell anyone, but from time to time I do the same! :P
I'd like to think neutral good, but it's probably closer to lawful neutral.
You're lucky, wish I could be more lawful from time to time! :P
When I play different games, I try to be on the side of light, so I think chaotic good is the best choice. But if it's W3, then the opinion of the ofc is changing there. However, there was a time when I was a D&D fan and even tried to memorize all the spells. It was hard back then, and I was a noob at it.
I met with a friend of mine, who I told about this article. We remembered how we played ourselves. He decided to invite his friends to play. I said I didn't remember how to play. We were at his house and he found a paper where different spells were written down, but he said that was nonsense because there are already a lot of D&D Guide on the internet that you can open on your phone and put next to you. I told him he was a fraud. Do you think it is possible to play a board game with hints or different guides?
In college, my curriculum had mandatory intro to psychology.
I remember the professor, a brilliant man who was very personable and a great speaker, asking us a similar question in class pretty early on in the semester.
Our responses were to be typed with no name on them and submitted to him in the following class. We were instructed to only put "male" or "female" on our answer as an identifier.
Come next class, the professor tallied up everyone's responses and gave us the following information:
Most of the males in the class classified themselves as "dark", "possibly dangerous", "evil if circumstances required it" and the like.
Most of the females viewed themselves as "good", "helpful", and "law abiding".
His conclusion, paraphrased, is that males are generally more impressed with their own level of badass in their mind than anyone else is. So, when I see guys talking about "I'm chaotic", and "I don't follow the rules" and such, a part of me has to shake my head and laugh. I imagine you sitting in the dark in your bedroom, gaming and listening to the Cure or some shit, generating fantasies where you could be the man.
As to my own classification? I'm too old to pretend to be something I'm not. I'm Neutral Good.
Chaotic neutral ninja
I consider myself to be Neutral Good, despite part of me wanting to be more Chaotic (probably because the reasons @Danjo explained above :P). I try to do the right thing because I find it easier and more rewarding to do than doing bad things, not because an arbitrary law forces me. In fact I prefer to think of laws more as suggestions than obligations, even if I don't break laws for practical reasons. I legit cannot understand how bad people can get away with their bad deeds weighing on them, but I guess each person deals with their past different.
As for what alignment I prefer in fiction, evil is near always more interesting imo, specially lawful and chaotic evil. Rakdos guild best guild.

I do porn (you can find my videos on the internet), isn't that chaotic?
I need to point out that chaotic and evil are two complete different things.
Being chaotic is not about being dark, dangerous or some stupid shit like that, it is about doing your own stuff, not caring about stupid tradition and fully believing in yourself, while everyone else is watching you and wondering "WTF is this guy doing?".
But sometimes being chaotic sucks, really sucks a lot, because once you go
blackchaotic, there is no coming back!!! XD (from time to time I wish I could delete all my "hot" stuff from the internet, but it is too late already :P). Also, a powerful lawful evil character is extremely dangerous in my mind, probably much more than a powerful chaotic evil one.
