Here in Spain the lockdown lasted for two months from beginning of March to May. Since then they have been gradually easing restrictions and about ten days ago the state of alarm officially ended. There are some rules about wearing masks outside, having to use a mask and gloves in grocery stores and limits to restaurant capacity etc. There are also limits on how many people can enter stores and things like that but thankfully the worst part seems to be behind us. During the lockdown we weren't even allowed to exercise outside which was ridiculous. So things are getting better but there are already mutterings of a second wave coming later in the year.
Work hasn't changed that much aside from not being able to travel which was a big part of my role. Been having tons of remote meetings with customers and colleagues trying to make the best of this crappy situation.
I'm brazilian too, Hillander, so I can understand you, man. So far things are ok to me, but with this disease out of control in our country I can only wonder how many more lives will be lost and when our economy will recover, if ever. Having the dumbest possible human being running our country is, surprisingly, not helping much.
Usually I would be very happy to find someone from a São Paulo city here, but I am sad to hear that you are not doing ok. I know very well how not being able to work can make us feel, try to stay close to whatever makes you happy, to whoever supports you, and I'm sure you'll be able to overcome this.

Dilma is the all time champion but he is a very, very close second, this people aren't able to run a condominium and we have to tolerate them running the country. :(
I am working from home, so in this respect nothing changed, just that I don't need to drive to work in the morning. I actually find it pretty convenient.
When it comes to other activities - I dropped gym and I don't eat out with my friends. Other than that - pretty normal. My country has 150-300 new cases each day and it was this way for basically entire lockdown. The pandemic isn't dying out, but it's not out of control either.
The main point of concern for me is that I parted ways with my gf just before the pandemic, so I temporarily returned to my family house - with old sick grandma and my mother not being young and healthy either. So I am super careful, I don't use public transport and generally I don't spend as much time with my friends as I used to - not even close.
But I am moving out in 3 weeks, so hopefully this will come back to at least some normality.

My parents with almost 70 years old and the entire family have diabetes, the caution we having in this crise is compared to people preparing to proceed a surgery. :(
Working as an intern in a shitty ass hospital being depressed by mountains of responsibility, crippling fatigue and 0 self improvement by the nature of the work i'm assigned aka nothing resembling medicine. Intern life. I wish i never took up medicine. I tell you kids, unless you have an obsession with being a doctor, don't touch this shit.
Damn, dude, that sucks so much... This shit is going to end someday, meanwhile take care, especially because you're in a shitty ass hospital! ;)
working remotely as a call center agent for an airline, pretty much my job since march has consisted of gringos yelling at me for 8+ hours on a daily basis, it has desensitized me of the situation if i have to be honest.
i cant even wipe my own ass properly while my family decided to capitalize on this corona situation and have me married next month to save up on huge expense typical punjabi marriage causes, idk marriage sounds fun xD
Well, at least you will have guaranted sex for a very long time, I believe... XD

Love to see people supporting each other here in times like these. Good job! ;)

My parents live in the back house, the two almost 70 years old and the entire family have diabetes, the caution we having in this crise is compared to people preparing to proceed a surgery. :(
Quarantine is over here as well and we never had many cases to begin with.Still i am very pleasantly surprized that almost everyone followed and continues to follow the instructions of the medical experts.Making us balkans agree on something and follow the rules is like herding cats lol.
People always need to believe in something. Always remember that hope is the last thing you lose. ;)
Oh, I forgot to mention I'm super glad to hear you are doing well, jainaishot! ;)

Yeah, it is fully understandable, don't worry.

After a few months of working from home, I had to return to the office. I'm pretty bleak about it, but what can ya do?
Anyone want to guess what the next pandemic will be, how soon it will spread, and how quickly countries will lock down?
My guess is March 2021, a virus that affects the stomach. immediate lockdown.
Take care, Fog_za! Glad to see you again! :)
Hahaha, yeah, with rulers like the ones we have, everything is possible... -.-
It will go away like a miracle. And if things go south, we can always drink bleach or expose our inner organs to ultra violet radiation lol.
During late March and April Hearthpwn was the only place-community-forum i could escape from the corona reality and it was cool and strange same time.
Still the same with only exception of one topic, if you want to keep free, what I totally understand, just ignore this thread.
