I am currently looking for a new tablet, that I among other things want to use for heathstone. I am set on a android tablet and I am considering samsung s6 or s5e.
My question is how big a difference the Snapdragon 855 in s6 will make against s5e's Snapdragon 670 and the 2gb more ram in s6, when playing hearthstone?
Never had the 670 but I did have a phone with a 660 and the performance was ok, solid enough, but it wasn't snappy. I recently switched to a s10e and there's a marked improvement, think it uses the 855. On a tablet maybe the bigger screen might be an issue. There isn't a material difference between the 660 and the 670, so that might be helpful
I doubt that prices will increase, on the contrary, there will be discounts soon, since no one is buying anything. The difference between these tablets is big, since the S6 has a flagship processor, and the S5e is a budget one, which does not compare to the premium in terms of performance. For games, Snapdragon 855 is better, it will last longer. Games are optimized for it, so the S6 is definitely the choice.
The ram especially makes a huge difference. Processors are only incremental these days, but having that much more ram can really speed things up and also allow you not to haveto do stuff like reboot to make hearthstone less laggy.
I agree that the more RAM, the better the device will work, but do not forget that the software may not properly process data, so there may be problems with a large amount of RAM.
Right now I’m using and Nvidia shield which has done pretty well for the past few years but has a battery life that isn’t anything to write home about. I really like the look of the Huawei MatePad Pro but I heard that you can’t get the google play store on it so Idk how I would play hearthstone. My budget is around 700$ or less. https://jiofilocalhtml.runhttps://forpc.onl

Still undecided.. Should probably order soon, since Corvid-19 might cause prices to rise...

My phone has the 675 with 4gbs and it's a little laggy. Wouldn't go below 4gbs though the 670 might do okay
