I started this thread with only two purposes in mind: to help my beloved community (I love you 3000!!! :D) and to help myself before it's too late. :(
Since I'm not a good example of proper behaviour here, I'm not going to give any advice, but I'm 100% open to any tips from you, people. I really don't want to receive any more warnings from the moderators, but it seems it really doesn't matter how I behave here, I always receive some. It's not their fault, of course, they are doing just their job, but sometimes I feel like I'm just misunderstood, mostly because I really don't know how to express myself properly without looking as an asshole (English is not my first language). :( Again, it's not their fault and I'm not here to complain about their decisions (I perfectly know such a thing is against the rules), but could you help me??? Could you help the entire community by giving us some special tips about this subject??? Can you be our hero and save us from the wrath of the Gods??? :P
Looking at your history in previous posts you've placed in November alone, you seem to be drawn to conflict. There are very few replies that just answer questions or participate in any conversations alone; there's always an undertone of misconstrued grandeur towards someone or something.
Try to just help people, instead of stirring up ruckus everywhere you set foot. I'm nowhere near innocent of some of this myself, as I can get pretty agitated by the negativity portrayed on a forum such as Hearthpwn, but I at least try to balance it out a bit.
The internet is a digital place of freedom, but you're dealing with real people, and freedom of speech should not be confused with verbally bringing harm to other users.

Just don't intervene. Everything is considered offensive nowadays. I'm also a troll every now and then but if you wanna be a hero.. guess the best advice is to .. not be a hero ;) ?
Actually, Sherman, you are exactly the example people should be following.
You may piss people off sometimes, but you yourself almost never take things too personally.
If people would just stop being babies about dumb shit, others wouldn't have to walk on eggshells all the time.
There's a distinct difference between people having to walk on eggshells because you're intervening and seeking conflict for no reason, or walking on eggshells because the rest is over-sensitive. Sherman has made it clear in his original post that this isn't a one-off occurrence; he has received multiple reports to which the mods have reached out to him. And while I'm sure not all those occurrences warranted action from mods/visitors of this forum, you have to realize, at some point, it might just be your own behavior, instead of that of others.
In any environment, online or offline, you'll encounter people that think differently than yourself, and it's good to take that into consideration. I'm not saying you have to completely alter who you are, but again, actively seeking conflict or conflict simply happening while you're there are two vastly different things.
Be how thee will, but know it bears consequences. Sherman reached out because he doesn't like those consequences anymore.

I understand the language problem very well, my English is terrible.
I suggest you to use more emoticons to make more clear when you are talking serious or joking, miss understand will reduce doing that.
People, especially the younger ones, become oversensitive this days, get pissed, ofended by anything, if we allow them to restricted our speech by the personal sensitive the internet will be silenced, in my opinion the moderation should only act in clear cases of personal and direct offense, anything else is protection for who don't deserve it.
We don't help this younger generation with overprotection because many of them is in a point where show logic and facts are offensive.

Well just be as honest in your posts as you can. For example when i type;
" You are all worthless mongrels whose sole purpose is to entertain me! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA"
Not only i am not banned, but i am even upvoted. For resource consuming piles of walking flesh, the members of this community have a good understanding of their place! >:D
Eh I say and all the people imo do what they feel like saying, especially online. If you are having a bad day, why not make an angry comment and feel a little better after that? :)
The problem is not people's beheading, this is intenet and anyone can say anything he/she wants unless there is a good moderation. Stable moderation is what this forum lacks
Sherman does practice what he preaches. As someone who has been here for years I can tell that he was much, much worse before than how he is now.
Good for you, Sherman! Keep improving :)
Kinda ironic of you saying this
Comedy gold.
But yes, people here are extremely fragile. Not everyone but a recent loud minority. Just today I saw some exchanges where A says that a card is good, B says that it isn't and A throws a temper tantrum.
Hi guys!!! :) Before replying to your comments in this thread I want to clarify I have been very busy lately, especially because I had to make many short video games for college and study a lot for the final exams. It was not my intention to let so many days go by without answering your post. I just wanted to make that clear. :)

Ok, that was a bit harsh :P, but I'm still going to follow your advice. :)

Believe me, I try really hard to not intervene in some silly discussions, but from time to time my inner troll wins the battle XD, and I can't help ridiculing some fools here and there. :P

Oh, that was very kind from your part, FortyDust. Thank you very much!!! I really didn't expect such a comment on this thread, you made me blush a little, hehe. :)

If it's mainly about the consequences, the obvious solution is to read the rules of the forum and be careful not to break the rules.
That way, even if people are annoyed by your comments, there's not much anyone can do about it!

Sherman, in your case, add a signature disclaimer that nothing you post should be taken at face value :)
