So, for those who did not see the "What's Next" panel for Hearthstone in Blizzcon, they announced that they would introduce a group of characters that would represent the typical "adventurers" in your DnD run. They called them "The Guild", and the Guild would be represented by a few Legendaries.
What I find interesting about the Guild is that almost all of them are female! The only one that isn't is Marin the Fox!
As a girl, I think that this is a nice little bit of female representation! ^-^ Of course, the gaming community seems to consist of a predominantly male audience, but I think it's nice of them to take the chance to introduce some original female characters now and then.
I hadn't noticed this. When you line them up they do look like a raid party. Seems good. It would be pretty cool if they had connected entrance and exit lines when played against each other or like a guild slogan or something they all say for the rp crowd.
I think it's pretty awesome! Yes, the gaming (and Hearthstone) community might seem predominantly male, but I wouldn't be surprised if we're more girls here than one would think. And representation really does matter - I used to think that it didn't, but it really does. I feel more included when I can play with female characters.
It's fine if you don't care at all about it, but acts like this matter differently to different people. To some, it'd be just a thing they'll never notice, but to people like me, it feels like a nice little gesture.
Huh, I hadn't noticed that but that's actually pretty neat. I mean sure for me personally I'm indifferent to whether they are male or female, but I'm glad the representation is improving for the people it matters to.
It's way cool that they've intentionally made female characters that give the self-reliant persona. How cool would it be if some future single-player content had *notable male character* trapped in a tower and the ladies of The Guild had to save him, like a "damsel in distress" in reverse?

Well you had to rescue Medivh in Karazan. Wimminz going on rescue missions doesn't really work though since all the bad guys would need to do is build a few shoe shops on the route which would slow them down immensely.
You forgot Rin the First Disciple. I think she belongs to the adventurer group (also, pre-Group finder warlocks were pretty much anywhere because of being able to summon people).
Btw, is it me, or this group lacks tank or healer?

What? No skimpy clothing? I was not prepared for this kind of design!

I think it is awesome to have cool characters of both genders so this is something I also approve of.
You can also potentially count Rin if you want to say she's the Guild Warlock

I didn’t initially care, but if it makes a positive difference to other people I’m for it
