Well, I didn't so there's that. What I did do was justify not being total trash lords when this reveal has already gone extremely well on average.
If we were to give Blizzard a grade based on successfully revealed cards, they'd have gotten an A- (12/13 cards in two days, roughly 93% success rate).
I mean, do you only accept 100% success rates?
Nope, but we do expect to be given what we were said we'd be given. if Blizzard can't handle expectations that THEY themselves set for us then we, as highly paying customers, have every right to bitch as much as we'd like to.
Well of course we do. That's how free speech works (especially online). I'm not arguing that we can't complain, I'm just saying it seems a bit much to make such a big deal over it.
And I hope I'm being clear: I'm not defending Blizzard, I'm just saying we as a community could chill out a bit and save our frustrated anger for bigger problems, like if Jade Druid comes back to Tier S power ranking, or if we get another "quest rogue" type of meta issue. Those are problems we'd best spend our frustrated anger on imo

I still disagree with you, my friend. Blizzard is a huge company with extensive PR experience. They knew that relying on such a method would cause problems with the revealing schedule, they could've chosen to reveal the cards themselves, but again, they chose the method that brings in the most cash and publicity, despite knowing the fact that it would not go smoothly and that their player base will be disappointed (but it would eventually be financially beneficial for them).
Knowing this, don't you think we've a right to complain?

For the low requirement to uploading a jpg to facebook around a certain time, yes. We arent talking about anything technically intense.
I don't think "technical difficulty" had anything to do with it. i think it was a miscommunication between Blizzard and Esporte Interativo on how/when to reveal the card. You're right, it's extremely easy to upload a provided JPEG, but that gets much harder when you're dealing with translation and cultural differences.
From what I've heard from Brazilian players, Esportes Interativo is revealing the card on-air, not online. This was a communication problem between Blizzard, Esportes, and the Hearthstone fan outlets like Hearthpwn.
Is this a dumb problem? Yes. Incompetence? No, that's hyperbole for such a minor infraction in understandable circumstances. Ultimately, we're dealing with imperfect humans; not everything can work as simply as it should just because it should.
There was no technical difficulty, that's a common corporate cop out, I use it all the time when I make small errors that need quick fixes at work. The difference is I get them fixed within 5 mins.

I mean you always have the "right" to complain. Though I think it's a bad look when it comes to reveals. If it were a release schedule then sure. For a sneak peek at a card I can't actually play with yet, I can wait a bit for a card. Also I would prefer a delay here or there over they themselves just revealing the card. Actually I prefer that for the very reason you stated, just a different perspective. It does make blizzard money, which means this game is successful, which means blizzard keeps making more cards that we sometimes have to wait a bit for before we can see them, again, before we actually play with them. It's cyclical, well hopefully.
More than that though I like having the community involved. It feels much better to me in the long run. It gets more of us involved and gets more of us talking. Reaches a wider audience etc etc.
Ultimately though it's a reveal and this is little more than a debate of differing opinions.
Just a Brazilian site abusing their card reveal privileges to make more money. We sure know they're not gonna get a card next time! :)

I can only imagine the kind of lives people who get mad about a failed reveal have...
I mean is a card, how empty does your day needs to be in order to get angry about that?
Sure, you may be a student and have nothing going on but video games but again, that seems sad :/
Is it? In a world where someone can lose 22 members of their family in a single event, it's wonderful that some people can lead relatively carefree lives. Guilt is like a relaxing drug - you take it precisely in order to maintain the status quo. It's like Catholicism - do whatever you want, because the morning after is confession and everything is made right again (at least within your own mind). Or Play Hearthstone - Feel Guilty about playing Hearthstone - Congratulate yourself about feeling guilty about playing Hearthstone - Play more Hearthstone.
Problem: *Note that this is not a comprehensive schedule of all card reveals. Select cards may be a part of regional promotions that do not have a set reveal time. Please reference the galleries above for the full list of revealed cards.
I completely agree with you, @b1ak1ca. I find it amazing how so many people cave in to peer pressure and strong publicity against companies that they're actually paying to, saying stuff like "they don't owe us this" or "we should be understanding for that" and stuff like that, it's just as shooting oneself in one's own foot...

Did you buy a card reveal!? where can one do this?
You are being clear. But you should know that it's constant pressure that affects companies as big as this, not the "choosing our battle tactic". :)
If you think complaining = pressure, you're crazy.
The only thing companies will respond to is if you stop buying their product. We all know that this little hiccup is not going to affect sales one bit, so it really, really, really doesn't matter.

It's not the end of the world, but not being able to keep your word on a small matter like this is disturbing. If they promised they'd make Alex Jones a playable card in the game I would understand if it couldn't go through.
On a side note, we are making quite a big fuss out of this.

And dont get me wrong, I have no problem even with like 2 hours for this and if it was they weren't posting anything in the interim to get it working, but its clear they are exploiting the goodwill of the player base by not only missing their first schedule by 6 hours and 35 mins, but also missing their second blizzard announced deadline by 36 minutes, while still actively posting content. There are so many companies and streamers that respect these basic guidelines that deserve these reveals more.
@asteroidm there was a release schedule - also then they posted that there was a thechnical issue and it was deleyd till 2:00 pm PST, but still no card reveal ...
Also let's not forget that the Blizzard employees that chose this website probably thought that esporte meant e-sports when it is in fact just Portugese for sports. Blizzard smart! :D

So, the final card reveal today will be in about four hours.
Who wants to take bets that it will go up before the one that's late?
(Also come on its a Hearthstone reveal, you knew SOMETHING was gonna go wrong. It always does.)
