At the end of the day, except Jon and Briene, every character is a Villain somehow, everyone has something nasty in mind they want to achieve, even Dany burned a whole bunch Dothraki (who were still her people) when she could just run away and a father and son just because she wants to be queen, and since we now have the utlimate super villain in the Night King, there's no space for someone else until he is out of the picture
Jon hung a kid with perfectly understandible motives for his actions. Basically Briene (and Sam) is the only main character without known moralic flaws in the past. It makes the story realistic not to sport any White Knights. e.g. I love the way Jamie´s character developed and I love Nicolai as a actor, but obviously you don´t have to dig deep to find his flaws, past and present.
Ooh, gonna chime in here too, I agree about Olly, he wanted to avenge his parents who were murdered and he got hanged for it. Kinda bullshit how he is vilified by the fandom.
But on Brienne, she is certainly not a pure character, at least not in the show. She forsook her family's oath of loyalty to the Lord Paramount of the Stormlands, Stannis Baratheon. She forsook her loyalty to the rightful heir. And she broke all these vows to the point of killing her liege lord, while claiming his younger brother was the "rightful king" just because he danced with her at a ball, while still sniggering behind her back. She was fooled by a two-faced, charismatic narcissist. She's just as much a bastardly bastard as the rest of them, in my book. :P
Does the last scene prove that the night king could not pass the wall without a dragon?
No I think he would pass the wall without a dragon very easily but destroying the wall is a different matter.
Pretty sure he's gonna do it with the Horn of Joramun in the books.
Thanks for the info. I haven't read the books. All I knew was Benjen Stark said dead can't pass the wall because of the magic carved in it in the TV show.

Same thing in the books too. The Children of the Forest used powerful magic when the Wall was made, so the dead can't pass it as long as the Wall is still standing. Pretty much like the show for the most part.
Are you for real dude? I said: "what makes you think all the knights didn't like Littlefinger?". Now tell me were it says or has been shown that ALL the knights of the Vale didn't like Littlefinger.
Can you point out any of the prominent leaders of the Vale - not counting Robin, the sweet innocent idiot that he is - that have been shown to like Baelish? Does... does anyone in the show anymore like Baelish? I think the last person - again, discounting Robin - that actually actively liked him was Lysa.
Knights of the Vale are knights, they'll do what their leaders tell them. I can't think of any of the shown main characters who liked Baelish, or who would stick out their neck to support him against the accusations.
Is this a joke? Baelish was their leader in that room dude.
a leader they accepted only based on sansa lying to them all how he "saved her" from a crazed, jelous aunt ... noone wanted to believe him or accept him,it was sansa's breaking out moment of lying for the first time, of starting to play the game of thrones that saved him in that moment. the knihgts of the vale were preety much ready to get rid of him then and there. in the books as well as in the show. the vale ever stated REPEATEDLY that they rode north FOR SANSA, naturally they chose her side in the great hall.
furthermore, his death by the hands of sansa was to be expected ... did he himself act like a fool in the scene? yeah. but he is a pathetic little being, always was, it is only fitting for THAT to be hidding under his face once he realises he's fucked and his mask comes undone. just to make it clear: I KNOW HE ISNT NORMALLY LIKE THAT, but in that moment it was oh so fitting:-)
i do agree though that the quality of writing has diminished, that much was to be expected seing as how bad dorne/weird stannis/no aegon the pretender/bad oldtown (calling it first, sam gets involved with an interesting group of ppl in the books,in the show...) etc. but i honestly expected as much when i saw brown haired stark kids and daenerys with blue eyes in s01/e01:-p joke aside, we knew it won't be as deep as the books
And what the hell was Petyr Baelish, a mastermind, doing in f...king Winterfell if it was so dangerous for him? Dude, you have to accept that was bullshit, someone like Littlefinger would never risk his life like that, NEVER. I know jainaishot said that very smart people have made terrible mistakes in real life, but this is a TV show, and Baelish was much more than just a very smart man. His death was stupid as f...k. And of course, f...k Sansa, I hate that stupid character (although I like Sophie Turner, she is hot :P).
Petyr Baelish should have been one of the final bosses of the series. I would have preferred to see him transforming into a f...king huge red dragon thanks to a sorceress and the power of magic (red magic ;) ), and being slain by all the "heroes" together, than watching him being sentenced to death by f...king Sansa and killed by Arya. Yeah, I know, my alternative ending sound stupid as hell, but most stupid was his death in the TV show. :P

Someone is still salty :P
LOL. You have to understand something, my two favourite characters from my favourite TV show of all time have been killed by Sansa Stark, by f...king stupid Sansa Stark, one of the most retarded character ever. How... how is that possible? F...k Sansa, she should had been killed by Joffrey in season two.
BTW no1 cars if u likes it, or you will watch next epizodes or about your opinion on AGOT.
Martin doesnt care. HBO doesnt care. Whole planet doesnt care. You are just the air, a person does not matter to anyone. So why u bother us with your opinion, when it doesnt matter on you or your life?
If you don't care about a discussion about GoT with people that plays the same game as you and share a similar passion for videogames and TV shows, well, you can just ignore this thread my little friend. :)
Didn't even watch this season as seasons 5 & 6 were so bafflingly terrible. The show writer's clearly have no idea how to handle believable character interactions and so these last three season are left feeling like a new, entirely incompetent team took up the reins after the very good seasons 1-4.
Tldr; GoT jumped the shark long ago and the Hodor reveal literally had me laughing out loud over it's contrived rediculousness.
It's no coincidence that a couple cards from knights of the Frozen Throne (the hearthstone equivalent of the wow expansion) make GoT references.
but this goes way back, remember where the lich king came from? Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne happened to come out the same year as LotR 3 where the eerily similar Witch King was introduced riding yet another dragon
If anyone's interested, I stumbled upon some informative videos on why the later seasons and the changes from the books suck. Word of warning, the guy (some GoT official wiki admin) doing them is pretty rambling and the videos are ~2h long but they're really thorough
TL;DR, the creators of the show are clueless amateurs who are warping the story and characters to fit actors' strengths for better performances. They also have no time management sense and ignore everyone trying save them from their own bad decisions
Oh, also they probably didn't like Littlefinger's face
I regret reading this topic, but at least i have confirmation that opinions of Hearthstone community are basically useless whining not only when they regard Hearthstone.

You know what dude? I enjoy whining much more than playing Hearthstone or watching Game of Thrones. It is just a way of life bro. :) :) :)
Does the last scene prove that the night king could not pass the wall without a dragon?
7 years and we're finally getting to the real story and you're quitting?
Fun fact:
no main character died so far. They made u just think they were mains.
I don't want mains die now just for a shock.

Does anyone else feel like this past GoT season was almost identical to Wrath of the Lich King? (Wow Expansion)
That whole scene at the end of the finale (mass load of walkers) felt like they took it out of the WotLK cinematic xD
Also: Sindragosa is
