Can anyone comment on the performance they have had recently with Hearthstone. I got my gaming PC a couple of months ago with the following specs:
GTX 1060 3gb video ram
I5-6500 3.20 GHZ - to 3.60 with turbo boost enabled and the High Performance plan
1TB Hard Drive
8GB Ram
Doom runs at around 130 fps but Hearthstone just keeps stuttering from time to time. I have been scanning and repairing before I open the game every time. Tried Nvidia control panel settings, deleting the log file of Hearthstone, closing the Blizzard App. Does anyone have an answer to this?
Nothing I have ever tried seems to make any difference. The game seems to run very well sometimes and stutters other times, especially the collection or when playing/drawing cards for the first time. Every other game I have I can run at max settings no stutter. Doom is a good example.
Well your laptop is even more powerful than my gaming pc. I really do not know what's going on. I mean yes some other games can stutter but fiddling with some settings always fixes those issues. Our pcs should run hearthstone flawlessly.
I have a much stronger PC, but on mine, sometimes its just doesent start, I have to launch it, force-quit the crashed shit, do it several times and sooner or later it works. I cant quit tho, it always crashes when I try to close it...
Well, when they say that Blizzard is just an awesome company with many talented ppl then I guess they dont mean that the programmers are good... ;)
You don't need a pc more powerful than mine to run ANY game right now at max settings. Let alone Hearthstone. So if anyone has found out anything about the stuttering and crashes, please say something. :)

What's yours? What about the performance in game aside from the crashes?

Same here (Pentium G3260/4GB RAM DDR3/Radeon R7 360), launch the game, nothing happen and I have to open the monitor process and force quit the game, sometimes I have to do this 3 times before works.

What about ingame performance dude? Your pc is good enough to run the game smoothly I think.
My laptop can run Overwatch and with no problem but i have an issue where when i want to close HS it freezes and then crashes, though it's been happening way less recently...

Yes, after launch no graphics problems, I close the game and don't crash, sometimes I have connections problems.
So your problem is stutter/spikes, when you play the game or checking collections? Some tips for you: 1.When you start the game try: ctrl alt delt and check task manager >Processes and watch your CPU % MEMORY % DISK % Play game and check sometimes task manager. Programs can "eat" too much % from cpu or disk. My problem was new WINDOWS antivirus, when i start the new game Diablo,HS or any game from STEAM,this crappy antivirus automatically activated and scan my PC lol. So i got stutters like you,low fps ofc... On my i7 and GTX 980 was big problem for me. So i just disabled windows antivirus(through registers) and my problem was fixed : )
Maybe, some shitty program mess with you, when you play only HS.Just check task manager for sure.
2.Try programs like MSI Afterburner and use it when you play HS,program shows u GPU,CPU,FPS in game,Temperatures and more... 3.Download all drivers for your new pc(never worked for me :D ) 4.Try in Options menu in Hearthstone> setup all on LOW details and play few games with this setup 5.Don't use nvidia GeForce experience setup for GAMES! this crap can mess with your games. 6.Try WIndows mode in HS options can help 7.Turn on/off your PC kappa
Ever since Ungoro launched this has been an issue. Randomly games will slow down to the point that its difficult to get a turn through before the timer expires when you are using the discover effect.
The game also crashes every single time I quit as well which is annoying as others have stated.
I have already followed all these steps and like I said my pc is pretty powerful with a gtx 1060 and i5 with turbo boost I get 130 frames in doom and almost any game. There is no reason why I would need to put hearthstone on low and I only have games installed and almost nothing else. I can create an exclusion in windows defender maybe..idk.

My hardware is inferior and HS run 60fps all time, your problem is not hardware for sure.
Ok, I think I found the problem. I was having the same problem, so I start checking my processes to see what was running. And I found that I was running something of razer in the bg, I disable it and the game is running flawlessly.

So I guess no one is experiencing performance issues, hmm, very odd. LOL
I have experienced graphical stutters occasionally, but not sure what causes it. Perhaps background processes.

even putting hs to the lowest quality doesn't help

I'm still testing to see if that was the problem.
Anyone, any updates on this?
Its the latest update to the game engine. I've been experiencing occasionally frame loss. Pretty annoying.
