Yes! It is indeed Chef Nomi (that may have been a bit unfair since it's an unreleased card, but I figured it would be fresh in everyone's memory)
So you feel empty? (Hint at empty deck trigger) I can fill you up inside (Fills your side of the board completely) Won't you have a taste? (Hint at its relation to food)
Some people have asked Why not just play Mecha'thun? (There has been much debate over whether or not Chef Nomi is better or worse than Mecha'thun) Guess we'll have to see (Hint that it's an unreleased card)
In addition, each verse is a haiku, which is a hint that the card is Pandaren
Howlfiend. The part about not wanting to play it refers, of course, to its card text of discarding cards whenever it takes damage. You can also give it to your opponent with Treachery, which is the second part of the riddle. c:

well done! that was easier than I thought. on to you

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
my first guess would be Dreadsteed. it was not played much, he has been around since TgT, he is a steed. the only thing that does not make sense there is the part about 'then I grew up'.

I would like it if we got a hint.
your riddle is very vague, only 3 lines all depicting the same thing.
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Alright, that's fair. I'm not going to give any more lines just yet, but I'll tell you a couple things
1. Each line represents a different aspect of this card
2. The formatting of the riddle is also a clue
Okay, guess it's time for another verse:
Some people have asked
Why not just play Mecha'thun?
Guess we'll have to see
This should make it a bit more obvious

On to you JARVlS
ok, here we go.
its better you don't play me
best hope your opponent does,
some people try to give me away
to their opponent, who as spare cards to play.
hope its not to short, I can give hints if needed.
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.

Goodness gracious.

I've been around for a while
Swift like a wind, brash and untamed
Then I grew up, became a valiant mount
And yet I was still unplayed
Sorry for the wait, timezones are tough to deal with sometimes.
Goodness gracious.

Not it.
I'd like to apologize however: I misunderstood what the word "steed" is. It's since been replaced with a "mount".
Goodness gracious.
then my next guess would be Direhorn Hatchling.
un'goro was about 2 years ago, he is a wild dinosaur, and he grows up to be a Direhorn Matriarch.
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Not it either.
Goodness gracious.
Mounted Raptor?
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
I'm gonna hazard a guess here and say Young Dragonhawk
I've been around for a while (It's from the classic set)
Swift like a wind, brash and untamed (It has Windfury, and is a Beast)
Then I grew up, became a valiant mount (Referring to Dragonhawk Rider from TGT)
And yet I was still unplayed (Dragonhawk Rider still didn't see any constructed play)
this is so much better than any of my guesses.
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
That's indeed Young Dragonhawk. The ball is in Elvaeyn's court now. c:
