So I decided to try out Wild with my old favorite deck.
First I wanted to test how well the new quest performed in the deck. It performed all right between rank 21-8 where I was mostly farming priests, but between rank 8-5 the meta seems to be 95% aggro (aggro druid + pirate warrior + aggro druid + aggro druid + pirate warrior etc.) so I ended with a more conventional list though geared more towards the early game.
Healbot / Ice Barrier: the new aggro meta seems all about board control. You don't lose to Steady Shot you lose because the board gets out of hand early. You don't have time to play either cards in my experience but the old Duplicate into Belcher is still a really powerful play. Especially against pirate warrior whose burst do care about taunts.
Emperor Thaurissan / Sylvanas: those were staples in the old Echo Mage lists and for good reason. Duplicating either is really powerful. I ran them for a while over Tome but the deck struggled getting the Giants cheap enough in time. I feel that the Arcane Giant version needs Tome to get going and there's not much else to cut from the list.
Blizzard / Polymorph: I think that Blizzards most important attribute is that it combos with Doomsayer.because at turn 6, you aren't dealing with a lot of boards. But between Tome and Glyph you have a good shot at catching a freeze effect plus there's other ways to abuse Doomsayer: tempo Doomsayer plus Duplicating it early to play two the next turn are both perfectly reasonable plays. You can also hide it behind Belcher. Meteor is just a more powerful play at turn 6, plus it works as a pseudo Polymorph thus freeing up a slot.
My goal was to climb to rank 5 with the deck but after being stuck at rank 6 the whole day playing the same two decks over and over again I decided the give it a rest. The deck is still really fun and challenging. I'd avoid it in higher ranks though.

Here's the list:
There's some omissions:
