If on the previous turn I cast the Spellbender card, and on this current turn I drop a Mana Wyrm and also cast Counterspell ... what will happen on the opponent's turn?
Let's say the opponent is a Druid. The Druid casts Swipe on my Mana Wyrm. Will Spellbender activate and use Swipe on the new minion created from Spellbender and leave Counterspell "active", or will both of these spells proc, leaving me with no active secrets?
If it was the otherway around, and I summoned Counterspell on the previous turn, and then Spellbender on my current turn ... Counterspell is the only one proc'd right? I'm just trying to make sure not to waste secrets.
The first instance, it will activate both secrets and leave your board clear of secrets(unless his spell doesn't target a minion), the spell will redirect the spell to the token then counter it. The same things happens to hunters when they play freezing trap and explosive trap at the same time, it returns the minion then can potentially hit an empty board for 2 damage. You should take care not to place two traps that activate off the same instance occurring.
The other way around.......I'm not really sure......I'm inclined to think it has the same interaction as with the hunter and activate both, but tbh i have never seen it happen in practice so i don't want to make an assumption........
Another interesting interaction I've discovered comes from Mad Scientist. If you have a Mad Scientist along with another minion in play and the opponent kills both simultaneously with a spell, it is possible that the Mad Scientist will pull Duplicate from your deck. At this point Duplicate triggers and gives you a copy of the other minion.

Not a Mage player.

When life gives you lemons, trade'em for limes and get some Coronas!
What about when Counterspell is active and a Hunter uses Flare? Does Counterspell stop the Flare from drawing cards, or what?
Yes, it does. The counter aspect occurs before the card's effect comes into play, as it were.
