So this deck's kind of a mess, but I think it could be fun if I could get it to be a bit more focused. Mainly I thought Cobalt Scalebane had nice synergy with the new dragon cards in Witchwood, but also worked very well with egg decks. (Since it buffs the attack of eggs)
Unfortunately these two archetypes require a lot of cards, and I really wanted to include Stitched Tracker because it helps you get the egg card that you need (either the egg or the activator). So basically I'm wondering what you guys think I should slim down on to make this a little more proficient. I think primarily I probably want to make it more of an aggressive mid-range deck. Probably too slow as it is.
I think two one drops might not be enough for Tol'vir and I really think Rexxar is necessary in any deck that runs Emeriss.
It's kind of amazing to me they still didn't add any other good hunter class one drops (as in ones with some late-game impact) when they keep pushing the archetype.
Yea, I was thinking of including Rexxar depending how the deck performs tomorrow. Tol’vir isn’t a necessary include but it does help with Hunter card draw problem.
I actually think Tol'vir is a good card. I just might also include Jeweled Macaw or something to improve consistency, but I dunno what I'd cut.
I think spellbreaker is gonna be necessary for any sort of aggro deck still unfortunately too. :\
Dire Frenzy might be better at 2. That's sort of a long-game card.
I'm really wondering how consistent Rexxar's going to be now. Kraken Beasts were a little too inconsistent, but a lot of the really bad results are cycling out. Though also the best results were in Gadgetzan which is also cycling out. So... we'll see I guess.
I'm sure I will be fine tuning this deck in the next few days. I decided on 1 dire frenzy because the only synergy are the devilsaurs that proc the deathrattle and the 2 scaleworms. I tried to stay true to the idea of a Dragon Hunter, my initial deck had a lot more dragons. However, I felt after more consideration that the deck would be way to slow. So I adjusted the deck to incorporate more support for the eggs. Spiritsinger Umbra to proc both swamp dragon eggs seems like it can a decent combo. Or on turn 8 Umbra with 1 devilsaur egg and 1 swamp dragon egg. These combos could potentially add more value to the other deathrattle trigger cards.
Yea, that's true, the term I think probably applies best is Value Hunter, lol. As for amalgam, it could be useful for dire frenzy but at the moment I'm not sure of what I would cut out since I reworked the deck to optimize best with the eggs. The main plan is generate as many dragon cards to your hand while fighting for your board presence with devilsaurs. This is to help compensate for poor card draw and hopefully be able to get a lot of value with Emeriss.
It's funny the deck I created is getting more down votes than anything... it's suppose to be a fun deck during the first few weeks before the meta settles and everyone goes back to net decking.

It's too bad Runic Egg is leaving standard, otherwise I could optimize card draw in the deck even more.

Yeah I agree that sounds good. It's weird hearing about a high value hunter deck.
No Nightmare Amalgam ?? This card looks good... but i like the idea guys i wish Dragon Hunter to be a thing, sounds fun.
