I would like to hear other people's opinion about this topic.
I personally think if you are playing in wild, that your deck should require either a percentage of wild cards or a certain number of wild cards. Even if it a small amount; say 3 cards. If a deck contains no wild cards, it shouldn't get the wild tag in your deck list slots, and only wild deck list slots should be available to choose from.
Not gonna happen and how would you even determine how much wild chards should be in the deck?
On the other hand, I must say that it would be nice if there were more wild decks in Wild. In ranks 10-25 at least half of the decks is the same standard crap like in Standard without a single wild card. Why do people even go to wild with such decks is beyond me.
You mean Wild exclusive cards. I don't know that that would be a good idea or even doable, but it says something about the strength of standard cards when standard decks can still crush the wild meta.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Wild ladder is much easier to win than standard. Once my rank gets above 15 in standard my hunter and paladin decks would take a long time to get wins.
I can't believe nobody asked you yet. W H Y? You personally think that way but why? Whats the reasoning behind the suggestion you're making, OP? Why I shouldn't be allowed to play in wild mode just because of the fact I don't own or I don't want to use older cards? Am I ruining wild players gaming experience by playing with standard cards only and if yes - how? Please, explain yourself. Otherwise the thread just doesnt make sense. I think current state of wild mode is pretty normal and logical. You can use all the cards. You can make basic only deck if you want. Its just you're given the opportunity to choose from standard/wild meta if you use stadard cards only. I don't see any reason to steal this opportunity from the players. I can't even recall meeting standard only decks in wild (i play wild exclusively since 2 months, occasionally before), which makes me even more curious to hear your reasoning why is this a problem to be solved.
My guess is that the OP simply wants wild to be more of a separate experience than standard than it currently is.
I don't see anything wrong with wanting a different play experience in a different mode. I wish that Wild AND Casual both were more differentiated from Standard than they are currently. Luckily for Wild, it should trend further and further from Standard with time. Casual, not so much.

Pretty much this is what I am getting at. I don't really care that people don't use wild cards. I mainly play wild ladder for a different experience. It is refreshing to play different decks than the standard meta. I'm not salty at all about pirates and cannon. If they choose to play that way that is fine. I was just curious as to what everyone else thought about standard decks copied straight into the wild format.
I guess as to the why, I just thought wild would be a different experience than playing standard ladder. I play both modes, but sometimes when i switch to wild, it doesn't truly feel like I'm playing anything different than standard ladder. It just feels like the two modes are not being utilized correctly. I do agree though, that wild will get better as time passed because the card pool will be bigger. I just wasn't sure if others felt like a wild deck needed to use at least some percent of cards that are strictly wild only.
Sorry if it came off as salt or trolling. I was just generally curious as to what others thought about wild and copied standard decks into the wild format.

This is what I took from the post as well. I totally agree. Do the ass pirate players have to bring their cancer to wild too? They play ONE different card and that's it. Same brain dead, zero skill deck. But, you know how sensitive pirate players are. Deep inside they know they suck at the game and can't win with any other decks besides "handicapped" decks like PW. It's a self esteem problem. We understand. The good thing is that there are a few more tools in Wild to deal with pirate decks and it tastes yummy dropping sludge belcher and watching them take forever on their nest turn. Then, another sludge. Suck it. :)

I think it's because it's borin to play against somebody who so severely handicaps themself. It's like playing mtg with Legacy deck against Standard deck, chess with white and opponent play without pawns or rock paper scissors where your opponent chooses before you. Like in all of these, if you win as you should you don't feel like you did anything and if you somehow manage to lose you feel like you are the most terrible player in the world.
Wild is suppose to be wild. Once you start putting restrictions on it then it is no longer the wild mode that it was intended to be. I play wild from time to time, and if you climb up out of the noob ranks you'll rarely see a straight standard deck. I don't mind people playing a straight standard deck, that just improves my chances to win.

Thoughts?
Considering every card in Standard is a Wild card......
Most idiotic idea ever.

Golden legendary cards opened: Ragnaros the Firelord, Auctionmaster Beardo, Kalimos, Primal Lord
a big yes but classic and basic set should be available, and in casual you should be able to play anything or in ranked one of them

Why would you care if other people want to choose to make their deck weaker by only using standard cards?

They do already. All cards are Wild cards and any deck you make requires 30 cards to be playable. So every Wild deck requires 30 Wild cards.

Most wild decks already include at least 1 GVG/naxx card. All the wild pirate warriors have ship's cannon.
So I don't see what OP's complaining about. He's just salty he's getting beat by ship's cannon pirate warrior which actually is a wild exclusive deck.

This is a troll thread correct? Everybody here's just taking bait?
How the fuck does a question like this get asked seriously

If you have no wild cards, you should play standard. Jade druid cancer in Wild is fucking annoying.
