PAVELLLL!!!!!!! Oi Oi Oi YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD JOB DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY GUY GOES ON!
Its so similar to his previous comeback, that time it was token druid now maly druid. He went Warrior>Druid>Mage>Rogue both times. Amnesiac tilted in the last games, cost him the series. Pavel got lucky, but Amnesiac was lucky in his wins too. Well +3 packs so far. This is probably the best series of games I watched in heartstone.
This was a brilliant display on how Hearthstone as a competitive Esport is a complete joke, the game has nothing to do with skill when you don't have the RNG.
- Pavel top decked Babbling Book into miracle Polymorph draw.
- Very next turn gets Babbling Book again into yet another perfect draw Firelands Portal.
- Then gets Ragnoros right after exactly when he needed it winning a 50/50 on opponents Giant.
Next game was exact same.. Top decks Eviscerate to deal with his Ragnoros then gets another miracle top deck hit on Sap for Windrunner...
None of this had anything to do with the player or skill...Was all dumb miracle luck. I feel sorry Amnesiac that's a huge load of bullshit to swallow at the Blizzcon Championship of all places.
Happens in Poker as well..This was the equivalent of a heads up all in A-A vs K-K and Pavel hits his only out on the River nailing his 2.5% odds.
Overall was hard to watch that massive display of RNG and how hopeless you actually are when you have no luck..All the skill in the world doesn't matter.
Amnesiac is a good player and a smart kid, but he "tilts" too easily, maybe due to his age, I don't know.... or he's just that type. In any case, yes card games include a ton of randomness; everyone knows it. There were matches that just looking at their opening hands made it possible to predict the winner with 90% accuracy, or more. You either draw the cards you need, or you don't. Simple as that. Because all these guys are skilled players - skill does not give them that much edge. Drawing well (luck) does.
I have to agree that game 6 should have gone to Amnesiac as the amount of RNG in that game was just wrong.
Those Babbling Books... my word was that just disgusting. Those two 1/1's decided that game with that bit of RNG, which had absolutely nothing to do with actual skill.
Can you just imagine Pavel's mental fortitude? Down 0-3 against a remaining druid deck, which is considered a top tier deck right now. Not everybody can think straight when placed in that kind of position, and yet he still was able to.
Pavel made brutal missplay by playing too fast and as a result not killing Ragnaros in 6th game. Instead of being punished he received a godlike amount of luck. So. Fucking. Unfair.

Concerning Amnesiac, his Hunter win #1 and the Firelands portals in round 2 were all RNG in his favor.
Absolutely deserved win for Pavel. Butthurt murricans everywhere tho :(
RNG is what hearthstone is about. Players know this coming into games.
And these players are very skilled, they worked hard to get where they are with or without RNG.
Amnesiac is a good player and a smart kid, but he "tilts" too easily, maybe due to his age, I don't know.... or he's just that type. Calling himself, the young savage. How's that for pomposity !

Amnesiac was my pick for "Choose Your Champion" but it was still good to see that cocky prick go down.
