What is this shit? Snowchugger a problem in Arena? Is this a joke?
Beacuse sometimes as a Rogue or Warrior or the other secundary weapon clases, mages have this on turn 2 then sometimes they just coin a water elemental on 3 and generaly at that stage of the game if you previously dont have a 2 drop or hard removal for those minions is an autowin for the mage! remeber that they just still have frosbolt and other freezing mechanics !

Is it a good card? Yeah. Is it the thing that makes Mage broken that needs to be removed? Hell no. I've never had that huge on an issue with Snowchugger. More often than not, it trades with my own early drop / I have early removal. Snowchugger is not auto-win for Mage.
What makes mage powerful is the existence of several powerful *common* class cards. Removing these will lower their consistency. There's no doubt Snowchugger and Faceless Summoner are the best drops you can get for their respective mana for mage. Well, you can make an argument for Frostbolt as an autopick, but Snowchugger turn 2 is insanely powerful.
If anything I'm not sure why Forgotten Torch got the axe. Remove Ethereal Conjurer if they want the biggest offender of breaking the game while not removing Karazhan or classic cards.

It's not an auto win but removing it cuts power from mage. that's the point.. they want to reduce mages power (they probably have winrate for each card) tghey don't remove flamestrike or fireball (if they would mage wouldn't be.. mage) but they remove strong mage cards that probaly are in the top 10 cards for mage or even top 5.

I'm sure it is a big part of why mage is so successful. Having a common 2/3 that's fairly powerful (especially against weapon classes) and can help control large minions, etc. probably really helps mage.
Sense Demons, Charge, Confuse, Poison Seeds, Soul of the Forest
You got to admit Poison Seeds is horrible though, lol.
It's not great, but it is a board clear of sorts when board clears are desperately needed. Maybe "area effect of value removal" is a better term.
I still don't get Sense Demons - demon decks are actually viable to draft in arena because so many common and rare warlock minions are demons and good. Just because it's not viable in constructed doesn't mean it's not viable in arena.
Charge isn't great, but one copy can have a huge impact in the late game.
I had a Confuse in a recent 6-3 Priest deck. I used it on two or three occasions like an expensive reversing switch when my opponent only had one big creature out. Actually devastating.
Seems like a lot of people don't understand the reasoning beyond a lot of these choices. Most of them are pretty obvious to me.
Oh sage, please describe for us the rationale behind the Mark of Nature deletion, if you would be so kind.
I'm not going to say all of them are completely obvious but you can try to guess at a few.
If we look at druid spells in the common slot, a lot of them can have a lot of impact. Mark of Nature has always been sort of meh, while it is good in some situations. For arena I would prefer almost all other common druid spells. Out of all the common spells if I could remove any it would probably be Mark of Nature or Soul of the forest. And guess what other one they are removing! This will lead to a solid common draft for druids. Take a look at all the other druid cards being removed and you can easily see the same theme. In arena tier lists those 2 cards are near the bottom for druid commons.
Looking at specific cards only in terms of their own merit is the wrong way to understand what they are trying to do. Look at the entire big picture and the impact of the class and the values of the rarity. You can start to see how classes can become slightly stronger or weaker.
Druid is like a borderline good class, and if they remove the most situational spells it could break into high tier with the power behind the good choose one cards.
Valiant and Snowchugger are a lot more obvious, but if you need me to explain them I can.
Sense Demons, Charge, Confuse, Poison Seeds, Soul of the Forest
You don't seem to understand why they are doing this. They are trying to make classes better by taking out synergy cards so you can make a more general draft until they can weight the cards how they want to. What if you draft sense demons or even sense demons showing up and you don't get enough demons for it to have value. Confuse is highly situational and epics shouldn't be like that. They want you to see good class cards in your draft.
Disagree with Axe Flinger, Ancestral Healing, Undercity Valiant and Sense Demons. They should've removed polymorph and hex, transforming something just like that in arena is so cheap.

If you got the coin, the Mercenaries get going. Vote for The Mercenary for CCC #3.

Disagree with:
Sense Demons, Charge, Confuse, Poison Seeds, Soul of the Forest
some of these removals are random af

I've had quite a bit of success with warrior, I expect this change will help them out quite a bit. It may also make shaman get too many 7.7's

When is this all going into effect?
Oh thank God they took out Undercity Valiant; that conditional Ironforge Rifleman effect is so OP!
Um, what? Snowchugger?
