I was just thinking... i didn't preorder the packs, but now when i have played the tavern and acutally saw how powerfull these cards are, especially combos with inspire and other great cards then I got a feeling that I won't be really competitive with GVG and normal cards, maybe I see this only because i have played against new cards but ... what do you think ?
Maybe we're all missing the point of this weeks brawl.....
Everyone's been like "inspire is toooooo slow, it'll never beat hunter, etc"
So here's a inspire deck vs a hunter deck and the hunter has very little chance of winning......
sooo point proven, inspire is ok, maybe grand tournament will have more then 3 usable cards....
This hunter's not even fun rng-piece-of-shit-deck can't be viable even if replace half of a cards - maybe if 2/3 only!.. So what this viability of mage deck can you talk about?
I'm now 2-9 in wins/losses for this brawl a majority being as the mage. Where is the fun in losing more than 70% of the games? This is all due to RNG. At least in a skill-based game you should maintain 50% win rate if MMR system works as intended.
This game is nothing but a slot machine and a rage simulator. If you aren't angry, you will be playing this garbage. Fuck this brawl.

somewhere, someone, is loving this brawl with 9-2 W/L.
Alleria is actually really strong...just don't let more than several inspire minions out at the same time. You win late game hardcore with card advantage and heavy minions.
Completely unbalanced. Why cobra shot? Why healing cards in a hunter deck? Why make a premade hunter joust deck go up against another premade deck that wins most of the jousts? What the heck was the point in that? Do they even test these decks before they release it ?? They make 20 million a month and they can't even release a balanced & tested brawl?
Im not putting down TGT. I think it will have a lot of great cards. I'm just scratching my head on a terribly failed opportunity to show case them. I was under the impression they wanted to make money on presale. This could have been much better.
So as an advertisement for the upcomming expansion they show how awesome Inspire mechanics are if they face an absolute bullshit deck?^^ Okay some combos in the hunter deck are nice and probably those decks are even kind of even (if the Joust rolls go in favour of the hunter) but common, why cobra shot? Even with this bad decks, this card is horrific.
The brawl is overall okay but the guy who made this decks surely prefers casual over ladder decks.

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
I've found the hunter in this brawl to be pretty clearly the one with the advantage. The only game I've lost to Mage (out of 9 thus far as Hunter) was because I mulliganed into Captured Jormungar/North Sea Kraken/Tundra Rhino and basically crippled my own ability to Joust. Even then I survived until round 12 without a lot of problem before biting it to the Machine Gun Combo of Doom(OMT).

I looked at this card originally and I thought, you know, it's a card, and you play this card. The card will be that card that you play so you're playing a card. So, it is one thing to play a card. If you're opponent doesn't really have any cards, the card will screw up the card pretty hard, and that means it's a pretty good card.
So, this game. We were both on 10 mana and around 10 health, I have a North Sea Kraken (down to 3 health) on board threatening lethal, and he throws an Evil Heckler in my way to go with his Nexus Champion - Sarand which has drawn three spells so far, luckily none have been played but it was a scary situation.
Not wanting to throw my Sea Kraken into an Evil Heckler, I dump the last three cards in my hand... Lock and Load, then the two Hunters Marks on his two minions. Drop the first one to one, get a Starving Buzzard... cool story. Drop the Heckler to one... Quick Shot. Shoot it! Sea Kraken to face, Steady Shot for lethal!

Does tavern brawl match you up to people with similar MMR? I don't think it does.

It's nice that Blizzard stayed close to the WoW's version of Joust, it was a pain in the ass back then as well.

Still dislike the idea of a premade deck. Thank goodness it's just brawl and conceding is not a big deal
I can't ever end the game as the mage. Alleria has perfect counters and late game its over.
Welcome to Hearthstone.
Okay so now that people know how to play, it's quite clear the hunter is much worse.
As long as you play mage in a control fashion, hunter can't win.

No the mage needs a perfect curve to win these games. Late game is favored for Hunter.

Hunter is totally fine, it is nothing lile Nefarian's power creep over Ragnaros.
Hello.
decks seem fine to me, have wins with both classes

Missed lethal in an embarrassing loss in the last game because I mistook Mage's Fireblast as Hunter's Steady Shot.
That's what happens when the game keeps making you play Hunter 9 out of 10 matches.
Edit: Also, Armored Warhorse = one of the worst 4 drops ever
