18th August update: Beardyman's WILD 'You Nomi By Now' Murloc Paladin: More fun with Tip the Scales! (1080p)
This deck builds on the earlier Murloc Paladin I showcased from Beardyman (https://youtu.be/Bny3YJZG6AQ). This time, Chef Nomi has been added! Strangely, I didn't need Nomi at all. Also, quite often I didn't need Prismatic Lens either. A super fun deck to play! Thanks to Astralsflame for helping to test this deck out with Beardyman. Follow them both on Twitter to witness more cool deck ideas (https://twitter.com/astralsflame / https://twitter.com/BeardymanHS).
The latest version of the deck (not featured in this video) runs Rockpool Hunters and Murmy: AAEBAaToAgqiAq8E4AX6DoivAuO+AtKZA4OhA/yjA8qrAwrFA9sD4wWnCN8UncICscIC/PwCtZgDm6kDAA==
Some observations:
3:54 Usually I am patient with delayed turns... not sure what came over me with my emoting! 4:32 5 cost Tip the Scales is better than costing 8 I guess... 5:09 Should I have played Tip the Scales? Or do I wait for a clear board before casting it? 5:50 Murloc Knight - oh how I love that card! 8:18 I don't feel like I played the first game very well... but I'll take that concede 10:00 Should I have traded with Grumble? Hmmm... Am I being too cautious? 10:53 I really like the new Finley legendary. 11:40 Proof that this deck can survive multiple AOE attacks from your opponent. 12:20 Put your faith in the light! Seems to be a common option offered from Zephrys. 13:43 Love the precise lethal. 16:40 I am doing a lot of trading - feels safe, but not completely correct? 18:54 Kalimos!? 19:12 Once again, this deck gives me precise lethal. Love it! 22:28 I seeee you! Loatheb wins games! 25:42 Two observations: 1) It's not Iceblock? Fantastic. 2) I really wanted to get Eater of Secrets value - but never got a chance :-(
21st August: Gankplang's WILD Renolock: Epic game against a Big Priest! (1080p)
I have been looking forward to playing Renolock, after the Saviors of Uldum expansion. This deck uses two of my favourite cards - Expired Merchant for that super Gul'dan or N'Zoth value, and Zephrys - for that perfect Twisting Nether discovery to clear the board :-) It may be worth considering adding Skulking Geist if you are facing lots of Jade Druids. This video showcases two games: 1) Racing a Quest Jade Shudderwock Shaman - which was incredibly tense, especially when they played the Shudderwock! 2) A long 'knock-down-drag-out' fight against a Big Priest.
24th August update: Mentalistic / Yata / EK_Designer's WILD Reno Mage: All the Kazakus Potions! (1080p)
Thanks to Mentalistic, Yata and EK_Designer for this cool Reno Mage deck. i didn't get a chance to fully explore the deck's potential - but the games I played were certainly fun!
25th August update: Duwin's WILD Spell Hunter: Celebrating the life and times of Barnes pre-nerf (1080p)
Barnes is soon to be nerfed. Players everywhere will be celebrating! Let's take some time to remember Barnes, by playing him in Secrets Hunter - courtesy of Duwin! Deck code: AEBAR8KyQSXCKirAoW4AuPSAunSAobTAuHjApuFA/mWAwqoArUD/gzUEfixAt3SAt/SAof7AqSIA5+lAwA=
GetMeowth's (https://twitter.com/GetMeowth) Hadronox Taunt Druid. Such a beautiful deck. Khartut Defender is so good. Especially when a board full of them comes back to life - love the sound effect. The first game against the Mage was all over the place. My strategy didn't feel right. For example, not popping the Ice block when I could and focusing on clearing board. But later, popping the block and ignoring the board even though I knew he could heal with Reno / Elementals. Hmmm... Still it all worked out! Multiple waves of taunt minions were able to out-value the Mage:
6:15 My opponent plays Zephrys early - why???
7:45 Woops :-)
8:12 I could have popped the Ice Block but decided not to. Was that a mistake? I prioritised with clearing Ragnaros.
10:57 Now I decide to pop the Ice Block - was that correct? Only buffing two minions felt bad. Regardless, it forced him to play Reno. So Reno and Iceblock out the way...
12:39 "Our home, our tombs". Beautiful.
18:25 When Ragnaros kills Hadranox and wins me the game. Leaving Ragnaros alive is therefore always the correct play from this point onwards!!
The second game against the Renolock went much better. I felt more confident:
19:52 Zephrys on turn 3? Surely that can't be right!
25:45 "Our home, our tombs". Beautiful.
25:50 Playing N'Zoth into Doomsayer - seems essential to the get healing, to stop Guld'an's Doomguards from killing me.
31st August update: Platurt's Reno Taunt Druid: Elise the Enlightened is tremendous (1080p)
I had so much fun playing Taunt Druid in my last video. Time to try the Reno version. The value is insane! Elise the Enlightened can be slow - taking time to set her up to get the best value, but overall, it is worth the wait!!
1st September update: BmKing69 & Geraldhs' WILD Giants Warlock: Summoning Portal and Naga Sea Witch! (1080p)
Thanks to Geraldhs - a viewer of this channel - for introducing me to this Giants Warlock deck. The deck was inspired by another awesome friend - BmKing69! I am still trying to get to grips with the deck and adjust to the play style. When it works, you can flood the board with giants. If Naga Sea Witch sticks, you can do some pretty amazing things! Big Priest is a problem. If you have any questions about this deck, please ask them in the comments section and you will get a response from the authors.
8th September update: Cannon4Der's WILD Jade Taunt Druid: Skulking Geist won't save you... (1080p)
If they play Skulking Geist, you simply out value your opponent with taunts. I love this deck. Quite often though, the taunts are enough. The Jade Idols are not even needed! if you want to consider how much value this deck can give you... consider the Dead Man's Hand game against the Control Warrior. I had a 40 damage lethal with double Branching Paths - and yet it was more fun to continue the game :-) I had zero fear of losing due to the ridiculous amount of value in my hand. Oh and to my good friend Gerald, I apologise for bullying you at the start of the video :D
14th September update: Die_Insect_Die's WILD Reno Yogg Mage: feat. Rhonin! It's 2015 all over again! (1080p)
Reno Yogg Mage - with Pyros? Tony? Rhonin? Yes please. Are there more competitive versions of Reno Mage out there? Yes. However, this deck is a super fun deck to play - giving you a blast from the past with the likes of Rhonin. The might of Dalaran has arrived!
29th September update: Hijo's Tempo Reno Egg Demonlock: My first ever Brann + Gul'dan combo (1080p)
Krul. Reno. Eggs. Lots of eggs. Love this deck. Thanks to Hijo for the deck (https://twitter.com/hijo_hs?lang=en). Also, I don't think I have ever pulled off Brann and Gul'dan before :-)
5th October update: SilentNick's Jade Shudderwock Reno Quest Shaman: Devolve into Concede? (1080p)
Thanks to SilentNick (https://twitter.com/SilentNickHS) for this deck. I think the deck is a little harder to play than I make out in the video. In competitive games, every turn is crucial. I just got lucky with a Priest and Warrior who wanted to concede! Usually, you only get 1 shot at playing the Shudderwock. Grumble is not included in this deck (otherwise you bounce Jade Golems back). Barista Lynchen could be worthy of inclusion - just to get the Shudderwock back? Hmmmm.... if you have any questions, SilentNick will answer :)
6th October update: Comparing WILD Mecha'thun Warlock decks / Toying with a Secrets Mage (1080p)
Thanks to Alpha110 and BmKing69 for these 2 Mecha'thun Warlock decks. I had fun toying with a Secrets Mage - hero-powering down my own minions for fun, to see how long I could extend the game. In the end, it turns out I didn't play around the second Counterspell - my Plague of Flames was cancelled out! Still won though :-)
BmKing69 (https://twitter.com/bmking69) has used his deck to get to legend early in the October season. May be worth a try if you are traversing the ladder. If you have any questions, post them below and I am sure BmKing69 will answer them!
12th October update: EK_Designer's WILD Azalina Deathrattle Secrets Hunter: No time for games! (1080p)
SN1P SN4P Warlock. I have been lucky enough to only face it a couple of times in the last month. Pulling SN1P SN4P with Bloodstinger gave me hope. However, Mechwarper shenanigans caused me to lose hope as this game progressed. The ending was epic though! Sylvanas came through for me! Thanks to EK_Designer for the deck (https://twitter.com/ekplayscards).
20th October update: Duwin's WILD Reno Hunter: Playing Duwin decks causes you to make friends with your opponents! (1080p)
It's the October 2019 season. I need something strong. So I go to Twitter. I look at what Duwin is up to (https://twitter.com/DuwinHS). What do I find? A new Reno Hunter deck? Excellent. I wasn't thrilled with my plays in the first game. My turn 4 play of coining out Zilliax seemed bad. But... I felt like I needed to do something, and get something on the board. It all worked out in the end. So even a bad player can win with a Duwin deck :-)
The second game - against Darkest Hour Warlock had a great ending. The concede on playing Barista was beautiful.
The final game of the video (against Secrets Mage) was great fun. Wild Bloodstinger showcased its value. Making friends with my opponent was refreshing. Usually, when you win a game, you get yelled at. We had a nice civil conversation! So this is proof that Duwin decks bring people together!
One play that I do want to draw attention to, is the Tracking turn 1 play in the final game (21:20). I was offered N'Zoth, Khartut Defender and Rexxar. Assuming it was Secrets Mage, should I have picked Khartut Defender? However, realistically, I had no idea what kind of Mage it was on turn 1. So Rexxar was the correct pick. However... I should not have played Tracking at all. Thanks to Duwin for responding regarding this on Twitter:
"You don’t play Tracking here if you did Rexxar is the pic because you don’t know what they are on but I usually hold tracking and use it when I need a must answer card or use it to help make masters call and stitched tracker more consistent mid game. So here turn 1 candleshot no attack turn 2 hero power turn 3 bomb Into turn 4 Tracking if they are secret mage to look for reno, masters call or stitched tracker to find reno."
26th October update: Obscuryo's STANDARD N'Zoth Infinity Wall Rogue: Facing Murlocs, Dragons and Crabs?
I love N'Zoth. Rogue is my least played class. So it makes sense to have some fun with N'Zoth, Shadowstep and Togwaggle's Scheme :-) The final game was rather insane - that Shaman had an endless supply of Lightning Storms and Hagatha's Schemes! Oh, and he was playing Murlocs, Dragons and Crabs!
27th October update: Lulnenko's WILD Mill Shudderwock Shaman: Milling myself and my opponent = win? (1080p)
Mill Shudderwock Shaman? I have no idea what I am doing - but it seems milling myself is fine, as long as I mill my opponent too. Add a few Lifedrinker battlecries to the Shudderwock pool, and you probably win the game :-) That's my logic. However, I am sure the deck has a more complex play style and strategy. The most fun aspect of this deck is milling Secrets Mages who have already played Aluneth. Hilarious :-)
2nd November update: Eddie's STANDARD Hakkar N'Zoth Warrior (1080p)
Today's deck: Hakkar N'Zoth Warrior - courtesy of Eddie, from the recent Masters Tour Burcharest.
8:35 My opponent getting super lucky with Deathwing... 9:40 Super lucky with Deathwing AGAIN! 34:06 / 35:30 / 36:40 There is nothing more satisfying than watching Hakkar's Corrupted Blood do its work.

8:18 I don't feel like I played the first game very well... but I'll take that concede
10:00 Should I have traded with Grumble?
Love it!
