Hearthpwn

I had no idea who this guy was so I looked him up. Apparently, he came from Kripp's chat and has a history of depression. Given that Kripp is constantly talking about nerfs and removing stuff it's not surprising he went that route. It takes little to no effort to say that stuff, but gets a lot of fair weather people on board. Coming up with creative solutions that add to the game are much more difficult and gets less viewers because people don't like nuance.

 Do you actually expect people on the internet to recognize irony and playing with your own image? Seems a little too far out there to me.

Also, he doesn't strictly only point at bad things and demands nerfs. He acknowledges when something is fixed or going well in the first place. He just places more focus on the negative stuff. That's how some people are. Others tend to focus more on the positive side of things. I think there were terms for that.... pessimists and optimists maybe?
Even if we leave personal attitude aside, to be on the pessimistic side always is a smart choice, from a business perspective. Bad news and outrage are better selling points, as any journalist will confirm. And all youtube personalities, streamers, influencers, however you wanna call them, sell a product.

Zeddy is a casual gamer, not exactly a pro player who is technically forced to praise the game. He gets frustrated like everyone else and voices his opinion on it. He's genuinely a good guy who won't bullshit you and that's very respectable, think of him as the voice of the voiceless for Hearthstone.

 

I will admit though, some things he rants about can get to be a little much, and you won't agree but in all honesty, that's fine. If a creator isn't for you, then no need to call him out on a forum like this where he's likely not going to see it. Just don't subscribe and move on. (He also grows because of giveaways out of his pocket, so there's that.)

 

 

TL;DR: Zeddy is very outspoken and can seem like an angry troll who got attention because of giveaways, but he's been through a lot, and has layers, like an onion.

 I actually don't chat about him in secret forum , I even asked him that on YouTube, but ofc he won't be able to reply to every comment,  and I don't have any problem with him commenting or asking for nerf or buff ..etc .but to make title say nerf something before it's even out in a title that's not based on anything is so wrong , and honestly I didn't understand till I posted and saw people comments ,that this is his style which now for me it's OK . He is the salty thread or something like that .

He whiny when scabs was op just so he could play more broken deck than rogue one gooocard.

Before he switched to making battlegrounds vids my favourite HS YouTuber was Kripparian (900 thousand). 

Hopefully you weren't referring to me specifically but I don't think the jealousy explanation really makes sense, as Zeddy's one of the less successful content creators. And let's face it, he doesn't seem to enjoy his job that much. If I was going to be jealous of any of them it'd be Kibler, I mean have you seen that guy?

 I'm clearly referring to all the people commenting on the first page of this forum, I'd take this oppportunity to go read the first page, then read my comment again. Also your logic that "oh he only has 55 thousand subs, how could anyone be jealous of that", he has success genius, jealous people will always take issue with other's success.  Finally, I find it hilarious that you dismiss the toxicity of the hearthpwn forum community, I was a dedicated poster here for years, just couldn't take the awful takes and blatently bigotry. There's a reason these forums are basically just reddit with even shittier formatting.

im a old viewer since 2019, the only thing I dont like is that he's copying kripp salt attitude more recently (Kripp Salt Chronicles) and saying staying safe staying healthy and staying salty, alot sounds actually very cringe.

I came to this discussion to see wether it's something more than typical hating on Zeddy and it seems it hardly is. His content is about being critical about the state of the game and pointing out things that can be done to improve it. I don't know where do you guys get the idea that he is bitter, he is a very passionate person who deeply cares about the game. Also, the idea that his only or main followers are enraged children who just want to complain and complain is wrong. A lot of them just understand and appreciate his critical approach.
My main point here is that there are sensible reasons to engage with his content, there is some real value it brings and his perspective can be useful for someone who is interested and cares about hearthstone, so boiling it all down to ramblings of an old, lonely man is ignorant, unfair and incomplete.
I totally understand why people may not like what he is doing and his way of expressing himself, but I think those who dislike him are way too judgemental and too often act as if the only valid reason to engage with his content was to let your hate and anger on stupid blizzard devs out, which is just untrue. 
Edit: Regarding my first line, I should clarify there are also posts that are not typical  hating on Zeddy, thanks to people who wrote them.

I still watch Zeddy everynow and then, let's not spin around the bush, he's whiny. Either rng, nerf-worthy stuff, even the deck choice of opponents. But that's who he is and that's how he's carved his own slice of the viewership pie, if you don't want to watch him, don't. The fact that he plays every mode for example made me watch him stream duels, which is less popular. 

My only issue with him is the drama sh*t that tends to follow him on Twitter, he's got 'beefs' regularly with people, gets tiring quite quickly. I assume he learned a bit too much from wrestling.

So instead of seeing how many subscribers and views on his videos he has, you decided to ask a stupid question. Good use of the forum.

 He is bitter and his main followers are enraged children who just want to complain

 Actually I believe people defended him and made me understand that he is like salty thread , and I don't think anyone here is jealous of him .he ain't inventing something. cause if it was the case they would say he is bad blabla don't watch . Probably u just jealous cause u got no brain to understand what people said.
