Another month come and gone, and with it another climb to legend. This month we did it with corrupt priest and managed an 89% winrate. Including a 14 game win streak in diamond 5+. It has been a rough month as I've had some very sad news in my personal life. So it felt great to have this happen. Nzoth kinda revitalized my love for the game. I hope everyone who watches enjoys the video.
I'm glad that you made it to Legend with Corrupted Priest - 89% winrate is impressive just like the game you showed in the video.
I find this whole Corrupted theme very enjoyable to play, I'm constantly experimenting with new cards to make it better. Currently playing a Corrupted Rally deck with Horrendous Growths but I find it inconsistent - just like the barebone Corrupted Priest and Corrupted Clowns which I tried earlier - I think my winrate is between 40-50%.
There are unfavorable matchups like Spell Mage, Control Warlock and sometimes Libram Paladin also can be tough. Aggro depends on card draw - that's why I called this type inconsistent, too much depends on card draw. While yesterday my games were exciting and successful today I barely won any. Fun when it works but unreliable.
My next move will be crafting N'Zoth, God of the Deep and make a Corrupted Menagerie deck - adding another value generating Old God looks like an improvement.
I have a super spicy corrupt rally list that I'm 10-2 with as well, if you are interested in seeing it? It's a super silly variant but its a ton of fun. It's trying to abuse rally and how it interacts with horrendous growth.
