Don't let anyone tell you differently. Thanks to how you guys treated my last post that was amazing, thanks for all the support I appreciate it immensely. After hovering the last few days with Heal Druid I make the switch to Mech Hunter and win my first three in a row to get me there. I used this same Hunter deck to climb from 20 to 10 with at the start of the season after not playing last season. Needless to say it is very consistent with a 82% winrate. Might make the grind to legend with it this season, what do you think?
I came to the same conclusion about a week ago. I went from 4-2 while losing only 2 games. However, life has been rough recently, and I went from rank 2 five stars back to rank 3 now. I suppose it's just in the nature of the game to get winning and losing streaks but some of the losses I had were ridiculous. (Topdeck sap anyone?) Anyways, good luck with the climb to legend. Hope you get there!
Yeah Sap and or Silence hurt a lot. Good luck to you as well :)
Thank you. I am now at rank 1 zero stars, using tempo rogue, because I wanted to experience it before it gets nerfed. (I had never played it before)
And holy crap, the power level of the deck is sooo high. The climb was a breeze until I hit a wall at rank 1 three stars. I'll try to hit legend again today. If I don't make it before the nerfs tomorrow, I'll go back to mech hunter, but Jesus, I am not missing it right now.
Oh, and by the way, this is even without most of the legendaries. I don't have Myra's, captain greenskin, togwaggle, or Edwin. And it is still broken... LOL
Mech Hunter is not the best deck on ladder, but the games are quick and so you win more stars overall compared to decks like Control Warrior.
It's also a fairly easy deck to play so you make less missplay than playing any other decks, thus leading to more wins. The only disadvantage I can see is that getting legend with mech hunter is not rewarding. Everybody with some time can do it.
I agree with you in the sense that the games are fast but also it is an aggro deck and that is the aim of the deck. If you don't win fast it's because you are gonna lose that one anyways.
I got to rank 2 with rogue. Then faced a lot of warriors and switched to mech hunter. I got legend from 2nd rank 2 stars with 2 looses. Techs were Ooze and Harrison to draw
Yeah, I've been floating over to Mech Hunter since Tempo Rogue, my go-to deck is getting nerfed. I feel like SN1P-SN4P is going to be a very useful aggro tool in Mech Hunter as well. However, I have been trying out Brian Kibler's Deathrattle hunter as well, and although it's slower, it feels much more fun to me. I just enjoy getting to cheat out big shit and leaving my opponent with no way to answer the board. I also just like Oblivitron.
I forgot to post earlier, but I hit legend with mech hunter last night. Climbed from rank 2 four stars (where I left off with tempo rogue) to legend in a little over an hour.
It was honestly pretty smooth sailing, and I am now noticing other mech hunters around those ranks. (I guess all of the rogues went to mech hunter haha!)
I actually just hit Rank 3. Went on a 8 game streak by testing out to hit Rank 3. Now I am hovering there, all around 12-3. -1 Whirlglider +1 Nine Lives. As a way to sneak an extra 2 damage or mech search mid to late game. It alone has won me 3 games.

Good work, let me know if you hit legend. I just hit Rank 4 right now.

Nice, how similar was the deck to the one I posted besides the techs?

No doubt that Deathrattle is the funner and feels like you are playing a card game deck. I can’t wait to try out the new Mech in Hunter

It's actually quite different. I do like the techs, though. If they're working out they're working out.

I've tried your list and I climbed to Rank 3 before starting to drop again. Cheers m8
