Hey Everyone! Thank you for stopping by! I have been trying to get my youtube channel going for a few months now. But my viewer and subscribers haven't really gone anywhere. I am not really sure if its the content? Or if I am doing something wrong in another way. BUT! I figured I would ask you guys to give me your thoughts and hopefully I can learn something and make improvements. Thanks again for the time.
@Staples887 - Thats cool! I am not begging for you guys to subscribe. I am glad to hear that you liked it though!
@Dragonsscars - Yeah, the current trend for sure seems to be Twitch focused. I am not 100 percent sure I want to go in that direction but you may be right that it is the better option for what I am doing. Thanks for your thoughts!
Thumbnails are great. Videos are not too long like the other guy said, that's like an average decent game. Also some people do like longer videos. The way you explain your plays is preeeeetty good.
I do think 4 or 5 videos of the same deck is excessive though, If you want to showcase a deck do a longer video rather than game, game, game.
Also upload more frequently, since rastakahn only 4 vids and 2 are odd mage
Problem is you are competing with Toast, Kripp, Trump, Kibler and about 1000 others.
@SamHobbs494 - Thanks man! I love making those thumbnails. Yeah, I agree with the doing fewer videos of the same deck. I already decided to move away from that model just hasn't propagated to the channel quite yet.
At the moment my goal is to do 4 videos a week (which I am not hitting). Since I am a weekend warrior with the video generation and youtube thing. But your point is well made that consistent content is going to make things better.
Lastly I know the competition is pretty rough. Those guys have been doing this a long time and everyone knows them. But I do it because I love the game and I enjoy making the videos. Those guys do it as a lifestyle ha ha.
One last thing. don't do "previews" at the start. People complain at Toast for doing it all the time so that's a tip for free.
Maybe each weekend choose like 5 or so decks mixed of meta and meme and do like a highlights reel or take the best game few games or whatever and just upload them through out the week. Admittedly I am no content creator and have no idea how viable that is.
Either way I subbed because it's Christmas and it's nice to be nice

JUST MY OPINION.
People will not like to see long videos on YT.
I think you have to go to twitch and do LIVE, probably better. Or also Live on YT
Leper Gnome
I dig it!
But you'd only get views out of me, not the type to sub or anything.

Graphics for the Thumbnails are legit. I wish my photoshop skills are that good right now. Gave you a Sub. Wish you luck going forward.
Happy New Years!!
