I read the post you linked from 2014 and I couldn't find any blue blizzard responses to it.  I also looked at the agreement posted, including  the section 1.ii part.  I didn't  see any mention of limiting to 3 accounts.  I did see where it said "you are not allowed to have more than three (3) Accounts with Blizzard Balance."  Only one of those accounts has a blizzard balance atm.

Here's what I found.... In particular the blue blizzard post in it.  I do understand  your article is more recent and this one is from December 2011.
