I don't understand why blizzard does this, they do it do it in WoW too. Why do they ban people for finding bugs instead of using them to help test servers for bugs?

Probably because instead of trying it on his own and reporting it to Blizzard, he did it on stream (essentially showing a lot of people how to get an unfair advantage, which IS against their TOS). Toast knew he'd likely get in trouble (watch the latest VOD) and did it on stream anyways.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
how do people find these bugs/exploits? (i'm sure someone told toast about it and then he started to good around) is it only via testing/playing some cards casually?
There is a high chance this bug has been discovered by accident.
Just imagine someone playing a quest priest in wild. He has let's say a Cairne Bloodhoof on board. The next turn he uses Power Word: Glory on it to make it heal him. And he uses Mirage Caller to receive a 1/1 that would either also heal for 4 each time it attacks or if your opponents kills it, summon a 4/5. Also this move would add 1 more deathrattle to your quest completion. All in all a pretty good play that could have happpened.
After your game glitches out it's just standard behavior: close the game asap and try reconnecting.
I will copy/paste my edit from the previous post EDIT: Like, I can agree, that someone used Power Word: Glory and copied a minion with Mirage Caller and accidentally found out about the exploit, BUT it's questionable with the case of Radiant Elemental x2 + Shadow Visions x ... I mean, why would someone constantly use the elementals just for the spell, w/o getting any value. As if someone expected to find an exploit (and how would they expect such a thing), otherwise I can't explain to myself the purpose of the combo.
to feed Yogg?
I am not familiar with the other bug you are mentioning so what I am gonna say is an educated guess at best, but an unlimited cycle of shadow visions does sound like the kind of BM many people in HS seem to enjoy. Assuming you are dead on board and got nothing in your hand/ deck to turn the game, you can still annoy your opponent by wasting your full 70-90 seconds by constantly cycling Shadow Visions.
However I do agree with you that there are definitely people trying obscure things just to discover bugs, like there are in pretty much every game.
toast actually did this in a stream when un'goro launched. it was to make a otk mana addict since how often are people going to be worried about a single 1/2 vs priest on turn 4. the only 2 spells in his deck where shadow visions and pw:s so he was guaranteed to keep grabbing the 0 mana shadow visions and he had a lot of draw to find his combo.
i thought this was right after he knew about the exploit and that he tried to "hide" the bug by making the mana addict/questing combo
but what are you saying: that toast learned about the exploit, while trying out this combo first?
So for all of you who don't know, Toast got banned because he tested a free win exploit that actually worked. There is a card interaction with Mirage Caller (I will not go into detail) that crashes your game and the game of your opponent. After that you get the win for the game. Devs are looking into it.
To be clear, Blizzard does not suspend or ban people who find and report exploits, as a rule. They know that this is actually good for the game.
Toast was suspended for sharing the exploit on his stream. Spreading knowledge of how to perform exploits is expressly forbidden, and it was monumentally stupid of Toast to replicate it on his stream.

Also! Someone tried this exploit on me before I knew about it. It did crash the app, but i was able to reconnect and win the game. (Unsurprisingly, the person using the exploit had all the skill of a Murloc Raider.)
I was playing on my phone at the time -- don't know if that made a difference.
Let the witch hunt begin for all people who are thought to utilize thisbug that Team 5 should have been able to hotfix or at the very least close the servers long enough fir an update to go live

A witch hunt is a hysteria-fueled search to pick a scapegoat from a pool of peers who are likely innocent.
That's not what this is.
Blizzard is only going to suspend those who repeatedly exploit the bug, not one-time incidents. They may also go after those who spread details of how to replicate the exploit.
Trying to blame this on Blizzard for "not fixing it fast enough" is infantile. You as a player know when you are using an exploit, and if you do so, you deserve whatever punishment Blizzard gives you.
Blizzard needs to quit punishing people for testing and then immediately reporting a bug. If I either hear or think a bug exists, I would rationally want to confirm it before I reported it. That's just common sense.
Of course he got suspended. He's a cool dude and good on him for bringing attention to this, but he exploited a bug and did it on stream too. Other people would probably be banned for far longer for this sort of thing.

I played enough Online games for last 14 years to know that if you don't spread the bug they don't fix it fast and the worst thing is exploiting the bugs secretly with a small community that spreads so slow it takes months to figure out there is a bug and people were exploiting it. So the best thing to do is spreading information about bug so developer will fix it immediately.
So Blizzard is so wrong about this issue instead of fixing the bug they target players.
No, you don't have to be reported. Blizzard is watching for it, right now in fact. They actually have a log of people who are doing it and how often. When it happened in D3, the following outcomes were possible:
Those who experimented with the bug casually, or only used it a few times, faced no sanctions.
Those who used the bug heavily to make in-game progress, had said progress, and then some, reversed.
Those who used and publically promoted the bug were banned.
Bottom line is the 'its in your code, it's not cheating' argument hold up great in speed runs, but not so much in online multiplayer games.

While they ban they should also ban every one plaing Quest Rogue, Jade Druid and all kind of Mages. XD
Do not discuss the exact details of the exploit on these forums. It is against our sites terms of use.
Does everyone already know what it is? Yes.
Am I fighting a losing battle? Yes.
Will I still issue warnings if catch you doing it? Yes.
:3
Will i get banned if I just do the "Combo" against the Innkeeper? Because I never tried it, since I knew about the ban.

Can someone explain why this happens?
Like the combo makes literally no sense.
There should be a reason for game to crash.

It's because the animation is so long that it also takes your opponent's turn. You are basically playing alone.
