It's a case of how dare you speak truth^^? because someone always gets defensive about their favourites?. But everyone is entitled to an opinion. Like I say, they put themselves up there, some of them take the P ... All we can do is answer what's asked, honestly though.
I mean, this is what we feel either way, whether it's aid out or not. And we'll continue to feel about them long after this thread is gone.
Just be honest with yourself: You're looking for schadenfreude so that you can justify why you're NOT at the same level/rank/skill they are.If you're jealous that they're able to make a living doing this (and I think people vastly overestimate the amount of money streamers/youtubers get) just say so.
This whole "X is overrated" - and no discussion as to why - just reeks of low self-esteem.

Not one person here said they were better than any of them to begin with.
I can safely say though, if I was making a living from playing a game I loved, and streaming to 10K+ viewers, i wouldn't give a money's who slated me, I'd consider part and parcel of the job. I doubt any of those streamers honestly care what any of think.
There's no obligation for anyone to like them either. Can't love 'em all ...
It's healthy debate/discussion. None of us have any personal ties to these streamers. We enjoy some, others we question. It's like anything else. I said earlier you can have an opinion on sports teams without ever having kicked a ball. You're never going to be as good as Lionel Messi, but doesn't mean you can't say he messed up that shot! Or player X shouldn't be on the team! It's all part of the entertainment. We need those love to hate guys too. Some of my favourite UFC fighters, for loose example, are foul mouthed egotists, but they are bloody well entertaining to watch. And it's not a silly comparison, since e-sports has blown up last few years, it's mainstream stuff nowadays. of course the 'fans' will have opinions, and not always good. That would be boring.
I dont like watching streams for learning stuff, i prefer youtube videos for that. For me streams are for entertainment, so i like watching Forsen, Amaz, some top local streamers, Kripp is actually interesting to watch sometimes and most of the time chat is impotent part of entertainment. Others like Massan, Trump, Kolento is reeeeeeaaally boring to watch, i prefer to watch videos of them playing decks i am interested in, and also their chats are elitist as hell and i hate it. Girls streamers are just meh.
You know, I started watching Amaz back when he had like 300 viewers. Back then, his sub goals weren't trash, his streams were inspiring, and his mods weren't nazis. His priest plays are exceptional, but he sucks at almost all other classes. Now, he's too much of a sellout now I can't even stand to watch him...
Kripp was entertaining when I started watching him, and then he just get saltier and saltier. He keeps complaining about luck while making the greediest play on earth and then got punished. Still, I goes to his stream for the cancer chat experience and the latest trendy copy pastas. *4Head*
There seems to be a few Trump viewers here. While I don't watch Trump because I cannot stand him roping almost every turn thinking and explaining about all possible different plays, I certainly will recommend any new players to watch his streams. Also, I don't really like his way of valuing value over tempo.
I love watching Massan playing arena, and I'll just switch stream whenever he plays Warrior or Paladin in constructed. He's cheerful, and less overreacting than Amaz.
Forsen, I watched him for 10 seconds. Nope. Nope. Nope. I will never watch him again.
One last streamer I'd like to mention is Dog. He's obviously a really good ladder player, not so good in tournaments (he can't predict the tournament meta correctly). Last week or so, he got his NA, EU, and ASIA account to rank 5 SIMULTANEOUSLY on stream with a druid deck. Also, he reads chat.
I'd rate Kolento as the best, Strife is up there alright, but couldn't watch him. I can't bear when he casts either, just waffles on way too much. It's ... give someone else a chance man!
Quote from GuyIncognit0»Kolento: He focuses on HS and is imo one of the best of the streamers (skillwise) BUT his stream is so boring... I guess part of his problems are his language skills or his personality. He is just not for entertainment....
Kolento is definitely not a great entertainer, he has a different kind of personality. Also he works more on being a great player than being a great streamer. He usually starts streaming in the evening and many times he already has the 30 wins for the day... Also many times he needs to be provocated to be informative, but when he has the mood to it or simply just gets angry on the chat, and explain things, he is probably the most informative streamer out there. With all these things, he is probably my favourite streamer, at least I watch him the most.
What I'm a bit suprised about is that Savjz does not get mentioned enough, he is a great player who understands tempo and not only value, yet has a great personality. I'm pretty sure he will get more popular in the future, at least if he sticks to a more regular streaming schedule.
I cant really say if i have ever watched a streamer that i think is overrated. I generally just go onto streams that i know are professionals. There may be times where i disagree with a play, but typically those cards that i wanted that player to use earlier, came in handy later. Was it right or wrong? i dont know.
The main thing i wanted to say is that Kripparian is probably the most talented gamer i have ever watched play a (non shooter) game. Anything he picks up he dominates and dissects it. Kripparian is also probably one of the most talented HS players i have ever watched as well. He isnt a legend player season in and season out and doesnt participate in tournaments because all he does is play arena and make gimmick decks. If he devoted his time to laddering, and didnt make purposefully non optimal decks, he could probably finish top 10 legend every season. But alas, as he has explained before, ladder is boring to him because he has already achieved legend before. Arena, to him, is where the real skill center is because you have to be able to build and pilot a good deck. Does he whine some times? yeah. Dont we all? he isnt fake on his stream. If something pisses him off, he says something about it.
Why didn't you just ask which stream(er) we watch/we like for
a) entertainment
b) learning
If you would have raised your question positvely there would be no issue at all. But your negative approach to this subject had to lead the thread to go like this
If you want e-sports to be considered on the same tier as regular 'sports', then you'd better get used to questions like this. Discussions about who is underrated/overrated are constant fodder for debate in the sports world. Many sports fans like these types of debates. So, if professional Hearthstone streaming is a 'sport', then these sorts of questions are fair game.
Trumps ladder skill r Overrated. Though he is decent at arena. Krip, holy crap is he bad. Forsen just a boss even though he's pretty meh player. Amas is good, not great.

Time is precious. Waste it wisely. Legend Seasons: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17
I think one of the best streamers and arguably my favorite is Tides of Time. He's really good and his stream is very entertaining. It's a great combination of entertainment and real learning.

At Arena I enjoy with the Kripp stream. I'm Kolento's fanboy. So much talent i think. I like to watch Zetalot for class affinity.
I'll try to watch Tidesoftime because the Brohanro recommendation.
I used to like Tides, don't rate him at all now as a streamer. He got dull, and a bit up himself after he left TS ... not because of that, or maybe that's why he left? I don't know. What i do know is I can't listen to him anymore.
Reckful & Kripp are hands down the two worst HS streamers (skill wise) both need to go back to WOW, and for those of you who keep calling 'Trump overrated with his skill in HS, seriously man give you F heads a shake. I for one do not like Trump as a player, I find him very, very often to be wrong with how he analyzes not only HS cards in both ladder & constructed but his whole way of looking at HS is extremely flawed.
Now with that said, how on GODS green Earth can you clowns sit here and type in that he is overrated skill wise? The guy has reached high legend a lot and as far as #2 rank, come one man get real clowns. You do not call a guy who reaches high legend multiple times and even reached #2 unskilled fools.
The thing that is holding Trump back from being one of the best are his gawd awful theories about cards in general and wat roles each card should play and in wat deck. Don't judge Trump on his skills because it takes him 15-20 days to hit legend rank, that is just how Trump does things, he takes his time on purpose. If he wanted to he could hit legend in 2-3 days like other streamers.
Best way to look at Trump while he is on ladder is like when Lifecoach ( one of my favorite players btw, very skilled ) takes 1.4 minutes per turn, yes it gets annoying but in the end he succeeds. It's same with Trump, he doesn't hit legend in 2-3 days after reset because hes can't, he hits legend 20 days into the month because he chooses to.
Amaz is actually one of the most knowledgeable HS players. He knows the cards and mechanics inside and out, something I can respect (having come from Magic the Gathering myself and knowing all the rules there backward and forward, albeit a lot more difficult there, it's something rewarding to know how the game ticks). He knows his decks, his opponents, and he talks through the games. He also doesn't play music while he streams, something I greatly appreciate. If I wanted to listen to music, I'd play my own. He does 12 win Arena runs pretty often (more often than I would ever come close to anyway), and he has hit #1 on Legend quite a few times.

There has been threads about who the best streamers are.
I think most have included that in their posts - I did. Kolento would be top for me.

StrifeCro is my favorite because he will talk you though every play (like Trump) but he's also pretty much the best player in the world.

instead of talking about the overrated ones, i'd rather name the ones i really enjoys watching:
StrifeCro, Savjz, Kolento.
Hafu is easily the best HS streamer. So, you know nothing, noob.
