So I've been playing hearthstone casually since GvG and have managed to consistently hit rank 5 for almost every season. The past few months I managed to gain some extra free time and have managed to finally get into legend. I'm really into HS at the moment and with the new expansion I was thinking of streaming my gameplay( as I play mostly pure meme decks). Any tips, or advice?
I think streaming is prb the easy part getting people to watch and stay for a period of time might be the wall u need break to be good. Since everyone will probably watch all the streams u need to figure out how to bring them into ur stream.
If you plan to mostly play meme decks you need to have a great personality and have lots of chat interaction. Since people would be viewing the stream purely for entertainment you will need to be entertaining.
The most important thing is to be good at the game. You could be the most boring soul on earth, but if you're on top 10 legend, people will watch you because they want to become good as well.
After that, it's just your personality. It helps to be relatable, but if people find you entertaining, they'll watch your stream regardless of which games you're playing. It's important to note that not everyone has the personality for streaming.
Outside of that, is the news/the insight you can share. It's best to back up your statements with past data and facts, but some people like it when you lean a certain way (while other don't).
Every time I tune in to Kibler's stream he's on (or about to be on) one of his long (piss?) breaks. So I'm watching his chair for a bit then tune in elsewhere. Take note future streamers - get that prostate checked early! j/k
Watch Hsdogdog, be like him but actually stream consistently and you are golden. Good music, great hearthstone play, a chat that can have fun but is actually under some control. Chill, don't get over upset and freak out like asmodai. Good luck. HS has a great cast of personalities already. Trying to break into that is going to be very hard.
