Hi everyone! I've been playing Hearthstone since 2015, and I've recently been interested in improving my skills and joining a competitive team. Yesterday I climbed from rank 15 to 10, and I'm working towards hitting legend for the first time this season. I'm 22 years old, female, and my specialty classes are rogue and mage. I would love to join an esports community to start streaming, learn from others, and improve my hearthstone skills!
If you're looking for a new team mate, add me on battle.net and we can chat! :) twitchwitch#11253
Hey! I am really a fanatic of hearthstone since a couple of years as I watched myself grow through the game but after it has launched its recent patch I am facing certain issues to play because all of the clan members are used to the recent patch and thus the games are also being hosted in the same, but in my new MacBook Pro, I am unable to be functional in the new patch. I have already tried to approach Apple Helpline UK but as one can guess, they have shrugged from their responsibilities and cannot guide me with regards to the former. Can anyone help me out?
Hi Diamond! Thanks for the tip. I've been thinking about starting my own stream without joining a team, I'm just a little nervous to get started without an official community to help me gain viewers in the beginning. Maybe I should just go for it and see what happens anyway :)
Just start streaming. It is really hard to talk and think out load. Don’t eat on stream. Be entertaining without showing skin and viewers will start coming in one or two at a time. Have a stream schedule and stick to it.
Most people won't sponsor a streamer or invite then to a pro team unless they are atleast a decently sized channel already.
Unfortunately hearthstone is crazy competitive right now both in streaming and e sports. Even someone like myself who can reliably get top 1000 legend and often higher wouldn't find a team.
If you really want this you got to be consistent and work really hard to climb. Even if you only become a dumpster legend player, if you have a good attitude towards streaming and devote the time you'll hopefully grow and meet your dreams. In the meantime try to focus on twitch and become better at the game naturally as you play it. I wish you the best of luck!
Yeah, understandable. I will advise you to have one priority in mind. Not so much gaining viewers, as that can take up a chunk of time and Hearthstone already has a lot of streamers, what is good is to have something unique, something that differenciates you. I stopped using Twitch around two years ago, but I used it a lot before that, and even though I followed and watched a lot of people there, I always went back to the same few people.
What made me keep going there was these channels were more directed towards the community side and less about the focus on the specific game. This made it so that the streamers eventually could play any game they wanted, as the viewers were mostly there to watch and interact with the streamer, the personality they were seeing, and that I think is the best way to go about it. Any game can have multiple people watching it but that doesn't really encourage "loyalty", what does encourage loyalty is a nice and honest personality that is welcoming but also assertive (it's fine to go with the flow and have fun, but it is always important to set boundaries and rules that are enforced every time it is needed.). You want a loyal and civilized crowd, at least I find that to be the best way to foster a nice community that doesn't generate toxicity.
So yes, I would advise you to try and start soon enough, be sure you are comfortable doing it, and if you want to join a team, a good channel is always a nice thing to add when applying for it.
(And as an aside, since you do enjoy mostly Mage and Rogue, as a Freeze Mage fanatic, who plays all kinds of Control/Combo Mages and all kinds of Rogues, specially Combo ones, feel free to add me if you'd like, I do have most useful cards for both classes on my American server, even though my main is Europe. DiamondDM13#2815. Can't help with the Stream part though, as I have no intention to return to Twitch, but I do wish you good luck on the endeavor)
Amazing advice, thank you so much! I will keep this in mind as I start up my stream. And I'll definitely add you!

Will do! I don't plan to show any skin, I have a feeling that's the best way to attract creeps lol. Tshirts only for me :)

Thank you for the best wishes and honest take! I think I'll have fun streaming regardless of my rank, so I'm planning on starting up a stream tomorrow for the first time to see how it goes :)
