I tuned into today's Value Town and was surprised that Trump took over as the host. I watch the show occasionally (prefer to just watch Trump's streams instead) so I don't know if this is permanent or not. They spoke briefly about the Chanman/Reddit controversy, which I wasn't aware of, so I guess that's why they made the switch.
Overall, I thought it was a much better show. I never understood why Trump sat there looking bored most of the time while Chanman did all the talking. I thought it was such a waste of Trump's knowledge and personality. If Trump becomes the permanent host I'll be tuning in much more often. Value Town will be more entertaining with him at the helm.
Same here. Trump was always my favorite as well. Hopefully a change for the better that will last until the end of days.
To be quite frank Trump should have been the host of Value Town to begin with. He has the right knowledge to do it, not to mention when you sub to his Twitch his greetings is: Welcome to Value Town....

Yeah, Trump is usually introduced as the Mayor of Value Town so I never understood why he wasn't the host from the beginning either.
Because Trump is more of a Arena type guy, and only recently has begun to play Constructed. Even though he very well had the knowledge to do it, it just wasn't on his mind. Chanman on the other hand is an average player that had the good idea to bring people like Kripparrian and Trump and begun to host the segment called "Value Town" but seeing as he wasn't too good in terms of standards it was rather awkward really. I give him props for the idea, but its not something he was truly capable of executing correctly.
Trump on the other hand can do so. He has his in depth analysis and knowledge to build of it, and he only needs to bring other knowledgeable players into the fault to give more "perspective insight".
Or maybe thats just my opinion, how it see it.

The entire reason I do not watch the show is because I do not like Chanman. I will be keeping an eye out if Trump becomes the host.
Chanman is the equivalent of a noob when compared to the people he has as guests. I'm sorry but someone who has almost no clue about the game bringing in "experts" to talk is awkward. You can see how unintellegent and dumb out the interactions are. And the questions he asks. Please let someone who knows what they talking about actually do that show. I agree with you I don't watch due to Chanman either.

The problem wasn't that he was using his 40 bot accounts to "thumb up" his posts to get more traffic going. The issue came in question when he used those same 40 bots against his competition. You might not know, but streaming/youtube subscriptions and such is extremely competitive and cutthroat to those that treat it like a business, because thats what it is. By the way Manipulating Reddit its against their Terms of Services. Also people have the right to be upset, why resort to such shady actions. Just goes to show how unequipped he is to actually do that show when you have to resort to such shenanigans to get anywhere.

I don't hate him, never did. I just never liked him. I'm not bashing him either, simply stating some facts. I personally never cared about VT, maybe now perhaps I will.
