I would have to say it terms of intelligence and skill it'd be Hotform, Dog, and Kibler. The insight into the game and overall knowledge of each of them seem to surpass even the most popular streamers. They all mainly play troll non competitive decks on stream though. When they actually play competitive decks they all out perform other streamers consistently
And it terms of non game based intelligence listening to them you can tell all 3 are well educated.
Kripparrian, the best all around HS player in the history of the game. He was the first player to ever get to legend and is the winner of all the HS championships.
In other words you don't even come close to their paychecks. Just because you are a professor you don't need to speak in such a boring manner. Also unless you have PhD no one will even recognize your intelligence period.
Kripp - because intelligence matters little if your communication skills are so poor you can't express your thoughts so that others can understand. Super relevant for streamers and youtubers. Kripp has presentation skills most other streamers are sorely lacking in.

If he's a professor, he has a PhD.
^^^^ What he said. Will you recognise my intelligence now? :)
I'd just like to point out you are making a serious assumption saying 'but anyone who devotes their time to solely playing videogames for money really isn't that smart. '
Well if they're getting paid for it? This is pretty baseless, you are essentially saying, "These people are not in my esteemed, brilliant and stimulating profession and have chosen to earn their income doing something else they enjoy, therefore they are not smart." Honestly? Saying that makes me seriously doubt if you are as smart as you say you are. Unless you can dazzle me with your brilliance, I'm gonna have to call bullshit.
It's really easy to say stuff on the internet. "I ate toast yesterday." I didn't, I lied. It would be just as easy for you.

Playing since beta, just decided to join HearthPwn.... better late than never
Make the Card: The biggest thread on the site!
My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.
My vote is for Kripp, he understands so many different things about the game, and he is very interesting to watch.
Kolento, with Thijs as a close second.

Haha, wow. That is some next level retardation.
