I guess warlock is their weakness because the game is over by turn 4 / 5 the last two times I have faced them. Seriously though, every time I face one of these shaman trogg is played turn one no matter what. The rng gods hate me lol. Turn 5 this guy played spectral and you can figure out the rest.
when i play face shaman i always have tunnel trog or totem in my hand, i only have one copy of them in my deck but they are always there, there are times that i didnt want to have a good start and i discard then but they come back as the new cards anyway.
That isn't the point but a joke, the point is it is truthfully when I am against these types of shaman they usually have near perfect hands. I am trying not to exaggerate here.
This is how it is for me vs warrior. They ALWAYS have fiery war axe in their opening hand. But when I play warrior? I never have it. I imagine the odds of seeing it in my hand vs seeing it in an opposing warriors hand would be exactly the same, but in practice its drastically different. Maybe I just suck at knowing what the odds are. When I play face shaman I never have tunnel trog. I also rarely see face shamans for some reason so I cant say how it is playing vs them lol.
Priest - always has Northshire, and on coin power world shield. Warlock - always has flame imp/chow into peddler, with IGB follow up into Implosion. Hunters always have Leper gnome, scientist, eagle horn, Animal companion. Warriors always have the war axe and Armorsmith ... etc.
Shamans are just nasty atm because if they get any kind of lead it's hard to pull them back, if you're facing a lot of them it'll seem like there's some kind of bias, but truth is they mulligan hard for those troggs. Same as other classes with their usual starters. I faced one today that coined out double troggs. I should have quit right there, but tried anyway. It was inevitable. Here was me with nothing but 3+ mana minions in hand after a full mulligan ... typical.
How many times have you beaten some weird crappy shaman that used his hero power a few times and did nothing much else of any use .. that was actually a face shaman that got a terrible opening hand?
I am always impressed by these kinds of decks like face shaman and tempo mage for example that rely on few specific minions like mana wyrm and flamewaker to win, they somehow manage to draw those cards on time and start steamrolling.
Please, I don't want to take the defense of face shaman but when you're salty, just post on the salt thread. Hearthpwn forums will only get better if people were not making a thread each time they're sad about RNG.
