I don't know why people are so fond of golden portraits ofrgolden cards. They do exactly what the original does. I really couldn't care less if my portrait or cards are golden or just plain normal.
Just earn it the hard way. Like others have said you get the rank rewards as well (with rank 5 being the sweet spot as far as effort and time).
Now, I was wondering if any others have experienced this - do any of you guys feel guilty for playing your Golden Portraits? lol. I feel bad playing my Midrange Pally or any form of Mage since they're already Golden and most of my other classes have < 100 ranked wins (aside from Druid which is about ~250 wins).

I most certainly do. Ever since getting Golden Hunter I have been reluctant to play it, and my DR Hat Hunter is my favorite deck overall right now. I just feel the need to make progress towards the other goldens. It probably doesn't hurt that others decks are stronger at the moment too, though. :)

Yeah, Hunter is in a bad place right now (who'da thunkit?) I actually have like 100 something ranked hunter wins with most being of the SMORC variety (and a sprinkling of midrange). I think I just faced a Reno Hunter, not sure, beat him too quickly to know for sure - combo Renolock FTW

Play the game like a normal human being. If you're actually that big of a priest player it shouldn't be hard. What meaning does a golden hero carry if you just cheated your way to it?

Mostly just the visual appeal of the animations and the golden borders. They just usually look better to people. Some people might think others will respect them more or think more highly of them with a golden hero portrait, although 99% of players really don't care if you have a golden portrait or not because it means nothing to them.
I've always though that farming would be super boring myself, but I'm the kind of person that likes a challenge anyway. Farming rank 20 with an agro deck would be the quickest, but honestly it's not that hard to get it from playing ranked normally. 500 wins goes by quick when you're not thinking about it and just having fun.
Yeah that's very true. Just play the game and have fun, the golden portraits will come eventually. Why rush it? Just enjoy the game!:)
I think that the best way to get a golden hero is to get 500 rank wins with that hero, isn't it?
That is the only way to get a golden hero so, yes, it's the best lol unless of course you buy the premium hero skins, not sure if they're actually golden but they're animated from the start.

Personally I agree, I think that a golden hero portrait means much more when you actually earn it over time instead of farming wins. There's no real accomplishment in that.

Looks awesome, no doubt. If you get it by coincidence, keep it, but i'd never craft golden cards just because of the looks. A card needs to do what it says, nothing more. At least in my oppinion.
Yeah I wouldn't craft golden cards either (only because I'm F2P) but some people really like to play with all-golden decks. To each their own. Golden adventure cards can only be obtained through crafting though for some reason. Personally I never understood why they didn't make the golden versions of adventure cards uncraftable/soulbound and just make them rewards for Heroic mode. I think they'd have much more meaning and significance than having to craft them. Just my opinion though.
I once played against a Golden Pally and He immediately conceded. I thought of it as this: He got a newb player pally and gave me a win. I thought it respectable. :)
I'd say that the fastest way for you to get a golden hero in priest would be to disenchant cards you don't use, craft a golden Galakrond and a Kronx Dragonhoof, hard mulligan for the galakrond and play him at turn 7. Bring some defensive tools to stay alive until then. Some card draw helps as well.
If it has to be Anduin, then shadowreaper Anduin is also a possibility if you play wild. 1 turn slower though.
Kinda defeats the purpose of getting 500 if you sit there conceed 2 why can’t you play the dam fucking game like normal people do instead of looking for easy way .
Why would you want to waste so much time for this... I mean if you get there over time by enjoying the game it's fine, but otherwise you are torturing yourself, for what. It's just a picture, print it on paper and hang it on your wall or make a t shirt 😅
